I like Lee a lot but he's def not my top choice; I think he's got the ability to be a star in the league and probably should have come out last year where he would have been the 1st receiver taken.

My fear with Lee is he has nagging injuries that cause him to miss a lot of games or not play at his full ability.

If he drops to us I really think we will take him.
That would be a no-brainer, so i dont think you're really going out on a limb there. I think the more realistic scenario is we move up to grab him if falls to that 16-19 range, regardless if how few picks or how deep this draft is. Would fill a big need and most likely be BPA as well. Outside of Evans, I really think the value is taking one of these big WR's in round 2-3. As far as Lee was concerned, he isn't dropping to us in round 2 to whoever suggested that; Thats more due diligence in case he's available at #22.

this is what I actually said:

If lee drops into the 2nd, which is very realistic with the depth at WR then he could be a trade up candidate in the 2nd

Which is very realistic with the depth at WR, teams may look at his injury history.. Or may think he doesn't have the upside of other guys.. Or may want some guy who is big and fast (lee is 6 ft, 192 and ran a 4.52)

If he goes before any of Watkins, Evans, cooks and/or beckham.. I will be extremely pleased.. Will also be extremely pleased if someone takes Benjamin over him (ditto for Robinson)

Considering the considerable depth at WR and the lack of depth at certain positions, guys are going get over drafted.. And others will get pushed down, happens every year

random sports talk discussion between Ray Didinger and Anthony Gargano but interesting to hear people's yes or no answers...

The Rams want to trade the #2 pick so would you give them this year's 1st, a 3rd and next year's 2nd to move up to #2 and take Watkins?

thats a tough call.. normally i would say Yes, but this year the eagles dont have a lot of picks.  so is it worth losing a pick to move up? the more i think about it, the more i say No.

Yeah as good as I think Watkins will be I'm inclined to stay at 22

so 22, 86 and a 2015 2nd?

i dont think that would be enough to get up to 2.. and for as good as i think watkins will be, i'm philosophically opposed to taking a WR top 10 unless they are huge and fast (calvin johnson, aj green and fitz)

if we are going make that sort of trade, i want mack or a difference maker on defense

“@JimmyKempski: Eagles schedule: JAX, @ IND, WAS, @ SF, STL, NYG, BYE, @ ARZ, @ HOU, CAR, @ GB, TEN, @ DAL, SEA, DAL, @ WAS, @ NYG. Per Eagles website.”

Rough schedule. We have 4 division games in the last 5 games of the season, and one of those game is against the Seahawks :x

I don't put too much stock into schedules because of the parity of the NFL

Jags could be a playoff team this year and 49ers could be 6-10 for all we know in April

I swear we get the super tough out of conference schedule every damn year. The eagles have previously played the patriots or 49ers and now this year it's the Seahawks. I'm semi optimistic though. The end of the year is gonna be brutal. And though it was just for example it's highly unlikely that the miners are 6-10. The NFC conference game was the real Super Bowl.

Lots of Cody Latimer buzz the past few days for the draft....dunno if this is all for show or not

He's currently in town now

this draft is going to be one of the most interesting I can ever remember I just wish it was Saturday and Sunday and none of this 3 day BS

I like Pryor a lot more than I like Ha-Ha but that's just me but I'd gladly take either one

While they have talked to a number of WR's, and most will say cant put too much stock into any of them because of "smoke-screens" I feel like Latimer is someone they have legitimate interest in. Unfortunately, he may not be there when they pick in the second round. Wouldn't be surprised if they moved out of #22 to a pick from 29-36 and then took him,

More and more I think about it, I really like Marqise at 22. I think he's on the same level as Sammy, but he was just put in an unfortunate situation; lost his star QB, HC, injuries, etc. while Sammy avoided all of those things.
