I'm pretty happy with the draft even though I think they reached with the 1st pick but whatever; it is what it is and he could turn out to be an All Pro for all we know

yea i'm happy with it.. would have loved it if we got smith 10 picks later, but then we risk the chance of losing out on him.. and to be honest he was one of the guys i considered for our 2nd round pick, but didnt do a ton of homework on him

but apparently the ******** were really high on him and would have taken him at 34.. and the seahawks were interested in him as well..

plus getting the other guys we did, i'm happy with it the draft overall.. plus getting a decent pick for bryce

and man i wish colt lyerla had some glimmer of hope about him.. or something

replacing casey with colt would have been huge.. in talent and obviously money

still trying figure out who the 6 guys we were looking at for 22, here are the strong candidates:

7) evans

9) barr

12) beckham

14) fuller

15) shazier

17) mosley

20) cooks

not sure they were in love with the safeties, but obviously:

18) pryor

21) clinton-dix

Take out Evans & Mosley put in Ha Ha, I don't think the Eagles thought they had a realistic shot at Evans without trading up.

yea.. evans is unrealistic.. but i knew we were in love with him.. maybe if he made it to 10ish we would have considered moving up.. but only have 6 picks killed us for trade ups

but i think it was chip who talked about the ILB dropping off after mosley.. so i just included him

I'd take a shot on both.. If we could get james for cheap since San Fran just drafted Hyde and already have gore, lattimore and hunter

Really we would replacing Polk, who has the iffy shoulder and bad knee I think too.. Then you have to factor in sproles age

We know this is Trent's last year with the team.. And graham will probably be moved before the season starts (hopefully for Jordan or McClellin).. So that leaves us barwin and smith

I'd take a shot on Dion Jordan; Chip seems to want him pretty badly
Way too early to give up on him, would be unwise of Miami and beneficial for Philadelphia. Especially when you invest a third overall pick.

I wanted Lattimore as a stash pick from day one. Smart of San Francisco.

Only chance we have is if Miami does something stupid.. And I still think that's a year away

But it wouldn't be the first time, San Fran kept aj Jenkins for a year then traded him to KC

This offense will put points on the board with or without Dre. Would like the move but it's really not needed ..would really rather we get Jordan

Heard rumors out of San Francisco that Jerry Rice offered his help, advice, and training to Jenkins. Only to be rebuffed.

"Only" 100 days left bros  really excited about what we built last year and how Chip moves it along for year 2 with a tougher schedule.....this OTA will help give my football fix for a few days I guess

man.. not going lie i'm nervous..

like i wonder what happens with mac.. i think he can be good in the offense.. but this is his 2nd major knee surgery and i'm not overly eager to sign him long term in light of that.. plus we have the 2 rookies who i both like, plus 2nd year ertz

we need smith II to step up quick, so we can move graham (hopefully for 1 of the two OLB mentioned above because we still need depth at both spots, preferably jordan obviously.. but would love shea).. and trent isnt going see that money next year

also curious if burton will be able to stick and we cut casey lose

but we really need one of those ILBs to emerge to be able to help out demeco (who also probably isnt here next year).. saw some crazy stat about the percentage of defensive snaps he took last year

I think Jordan Matthews is gonna be a legit #1

The dudes work ethic is uncanny and he doesn't have a diva bone in his body

i think we're definitely going be good going forward with mathews, cooper and huff at WR.. then celek and ertz at TE

just wonder what we do with mac, we obviously need him this year with mathews and huff just being rookies (although i think huff plays a huge role right away)

I started to watch Huff's highlights and I think he's gonna be a nice steal for the Eagles; he can do a lot and again is another guy with a great work ethic

Mac is a wildcard but I'm banking on a nice bounce back year

I love what Chip is building with team guys and not me players
