Eagles haven't responded to me about the Flywire jerseys; I bet they were just testing them out and didn't expect people to really catch it
 
I'm scared to buy another Eagles jersey. I had the Black T.O. And we know how that worked out. Had the white McNabb and we know how that ended. Was gonna scoop up a green DJax and the next week they cut him. Looks like I gotta get a Shady Elite then. And that's fine with me.
 
I am not worried about Maclin but I don't see him being up to form until about game 5-6

He toasted Revis a few times before the hamstring yesterday

Don't see how some of y'all are open to trading Maclin. Have you guys seen our WR depth? If we trade Maclin we would be starting Cooper and a bunch of rookies :x

Maclin staying healthy and productive is going to be very important to us this year IMO.

you saw our WR depth last year?

I think we're actually better depth wise this year than we were last year.. also helps that ertz has a year under his belt and we picked up sproles

Um yeah, we had Desean Jackson play a full season, a bonafide number 1 receiver. Without him, our receivers would have sucked ***. Maclin is replacing his spot, if he is gone our receivers will suck ***. You won't go far with Riley Cooper as your number 1 outside threat.
 
mac and benn went down down in camp..

so we were left with desean, cooper and avant as our primary wrs (then demaris and maehl).. we lucked out that desean didn't miss any games.. and cooper played well once he was given a real shot (also lucked out with his health)

we picked up brad smith in november
 
I think chip is going play matchups.. cooper was pretty much our best WR by the end of the year..

and I think we see a ton of plays where he's the only WR on the field.. then you have to factor in him splitting out the TEs and how he uses sproles..

I live out in the Washington DC/MD area, and everything here is FILLED with Sins coverage. Ton of Eagles fans out here though which is :smokin


But the constant talk of Skins/Cowboy fans out here is atrocious. After the Skins beat the Pats last week, Skins fans started doing the typical "Going all the way talk." Dudes out here are quick to jump the gun and its too funny when the Skins do the yearly face plant. :lol:
 
hell, look at the pats with gronk and hernandez..

their WRs and RBs are no where near as good as what we presently have and look what they did by taking advantage of matchups in unconventional ways
 
I think our WR spot isn't the best, but it will do for now. What people miss or tend to overlook is our depth and talent at the TE spot . Brent, Ertz, and Casey..I think that is where we will shine when it comes to receiving.
 
Hope Cole can start the way he finished last year but he's another her year older.

Marcus Smith has to contribute this year, pass rush is a major concern.

I look at shady and sproles as our game breakers.. with our TEs giving us tremendous flexibility with all the things they are capable of doing (where we line they up and what we actually do with them)

cooper is just an extension of that with his blocking ability as well as his ability to adjust on routes

let's say we come out with this personnel grouping: cooper, celek, ertz, McCoy and casey

in a traditional sense, that would be a heavy run grouping personnel (single WR with 2 TEs and an H-back/fb).. but with those players, we could literally throw on every down to take advantage of mismatches.. all of them we would be able to lineup in various places and have them run routes

Yea if the eagles send out 1 wr, 2 TE, Shady and Sproles, that's still essentially a passing package. The eagles personnel is basically position-less when you look at some of the packages they can bring out. I'm honestly more worried about the depth behind Shady and Sproles since they're going to get so much action.
