something must have happened behind the scenes.. and given what we know of the people involved, i'm siding with the team
 
I look at it differently; I have full faith in Howie and Chip

Maclin, Ertz in his second year and Sproles plus a high round WR makes me believe the offense doesn't skip a beat next year

But in all seriousness, I'd be sad to see DJax go but I think we'd be ok without him. Curious to see this Brandin Cooks guy they keep talking about though.

i think our offense will be fine with the guys we have returning (mccoy, cooper, celek and ertz.. and casey i guess if chip decides to use him).. then adding sproles to that mix

maclin, we'll have to wait and see how the knee is doing.. and if his speed and agility are back 

then hopefully the defense is improved after learning a new system

To be fair, Chip Kelly's best receiver at Oregon has like 4 catches in the NFL, so he probably figures any schmuck can do that job.

i think cooks will be good in the league, i wouldnt go out on that limb yet..

plus i wanted to go defense in the 1st, unless by some miracle mike evans dropped to a range where we could trade up for cheap
 
No room on the squad for a me first type of player. It sucks if we lose him, but we don't need that media distraction in the locker room year after year. It never works out man. As great as the year with TO was, I'll always remember how huge of a distraction he was in the locker room. I mean, this dude DeSean was asking for a raise literally days after we got eliminated from the playoffs. Nah man, he can go somewhere else with the crap. We'll be alright in the long run.
 
I'm fine with D in the first round and a WR early in the 2nd if you trade up assuming you can use that Desean pick as bait assuming it's a 3rd

I never saw where he stated he wanted more money? I keep reading this but I'm thinking he said something and once again the media put a twist on it. Kendricks even spoke out about how D jack is misunderstood. IMO he puts in work as a player and has never really been a distraction. Going to suck if he ends up with the 49ers, Panthers, or Seahawks :smh:
 
Not in agreement with letting DJAX go and not a fan of Mark Sanchez, but I do believe in Chip and trust in what he is doing

Sanchez had his moments when he was in NY. The guy isn't a "do it himself" type QB at all. Mark Sanchez was playing his best football when the Jets defense kept the games close and he had a great running game with a solid line. He can still perform well without the great defense, but he needs a GREAT RB to get his pass game going.

I think if given the opportunity, he can do well in Philly because of the system you have in place. He's still turnover prone and makes knuckle head decisions. Hope he can fix those issues.
 
I think all this Djax stuff stems from him bringing up his contract again. Basically, the Eagles saw the piss poor effort he gave in 2011 after the contract issue, and there is ZERO chance they are dealing with that again. They don't want the distraction and they have zero tolerance to it, that's why rumors have come up of us even cutting him if we have too.
 
Rumblings his agent was pushing for a new contract behind closed doors and the Eagles got tired of it

If that's the case I don't blame them; I don't wanna watch whoa is me 2011 DJax again
