Really looking forward to Cox, Kendricks, and Boykin putting it all together this season. Year 3 usually a big year in the maturation of a player.

Thanks. It's a 2XL too. Do you know how hard it is to find a vintage 2XL jacket online?

a 2XL from that era is probably like a M by today's standards

It runs a little smaller than today's XXLs but it still fit me.

I'm done listening to the media, my ears are sealed until draft day about this team. Something random and crazy reported about Eagles players every damn day it seems

TBH Mathis has earned it, he's been our most consistent linemen since he got here.
Just pay him or trade him, get it over quick.
He's probably worth a 3 round pick to the team like the Broncos

But apparently Mathis does want a new deal
Yeah can't really blame him for wanting a new deal. According to Jeff McLane, "Getting more clarity on Evan Mathis: His agent went to #Eagles for new contract before the combine. They suggested a trade then, per source."

Birds then shopped him around but other teams aren't high on him. They think he's good in the Eagles system but not really the type of guard that would fit in other systems.

I agree with the statement below; I think Mathis is more a product of what is around him then an actual elite lineman in this league

I think he is paid his correct value and may be sniffing himself too much but I can't knock anyone's hustle because the NFL is an owner's league

With Herremans being a question mark, I wouldn't want 2 holes in the o-line, I don't think Roseman will give Mathis more money as he already the 7th highest paid guard.

Actually when Peters and Kelce were out last year he was still at pro bowl level

Pro Bowl is voted for; he wasn't the All Pro he was last year with the rest of the gang back

You love to be to the devil's advocate; you wanna make him one of the highest paid lineman? I am sure what is what he is going for

No I don't think they're going to pay him, but he's been great in both Reid and Kelly's system, he is highly rated by every website.
In 2012 we had a terrible o-line and he was rated the best guard in NFL. If they can get a third round pick him just have an adequate replacement.
I don't play devil's advocate I just know what I'm talking about.

Wasn't saying that he wasn't a Pro Bowl caliber guard or a top rated guard. I was just summarizing what Jeff McLane said. Which is basically they're not gonna pay him but they think he's good in their system. And other teams aren't high on him because he's not a "mauler" and doesn't really fit their schemes.

But at this point, if they get a 3rd or maybe even a 4th rounder they'll move him. If they don't they'll keep him, but they're not gonna give him a new contract. They're high on Allen Barbre and think he can fill Mathis' spot.

There is no need to give him a new deal; teams that win in this league win because they draft well and replace at the right time

Plus if what McClane said is true other teams aren't that high on him

Trent Cole, DeMeco Ryans, Cary Williams, Brent Celek, Todd Herremans and James Casey

I think DeMeco and Trent will are the only ones that will be back on cheap deals, the other guys will be replaced.

Demaco is the only one I see coming back on a lesser deal

I'd let Cole walk and replace him in the draft

They need to figure how to get Curry on the field because he's a perennial pro bowler IMO

I would like to keep Cole as a situational pass rusher but only on the cheap.
Agreed on Curry he's been effective anytime he gets snaps although he doesn't really fit the 3-4.
