Reminiscing on the "old days." Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent were probably my favorite corner tandem of all-time, second would be Surtain and Madison. Al Harris in the nickel before departing to Green Bay and flourishing.

When our receivers were Thrash, Pinkston. Fred-Ex later on. Chad Lewis. Now it's Mac9, Coop, Matthews, Ertz, etc.

McNabb had so many trash receivers (sans TO) during his prime.

I actually thought there were as decent, as decent can be, at the time. I remember my biggest gripe being Mcnabb consistently throwing passes at their feet all the time. Never giving them a chance to make some YAC's :smh:

I didn't realize we changed our jerseys. We have that v neck thing (I can't believe I don't know what its called). I like it though.
 
Just got home from work, I see we switched to the new jerseys that Nike introduced when they took over. :smokin :smokin :smokin

What "advantages" are these flywires supposed to give from the traditional styles? I'm not a fan of the flywire collars but I'm sure Nike sold them with some BS reasons, right?
 
^ yea.. I'm not a fan of those huge ***** collars either..

Wish they had gone with same color as collar as the jerseys (white collar with white jersey)
 
Gotta wait until tomorrow to see the game.. Stats don't look that great.. Specifically foles 2 ints
 
I think Beau Allen is going to be a nice steal. I like how Jaylen Watkins kept his head up after getting burned for a TD.

I believe the ventilation is different on the jerseys too. Flywire is just there to keep the jersey structure and provide reinforcement from stretching? Not even too sure myself. I want one though, hopefully they will be available soon.
 
I missed the second half so anything/one worth noting? A little disappointed in Foles; seemed to be doing what everyone's been saying he's doing in camp which is throw behind his receivers. I'm glad it's now and not during real games but Damn did he do it a lot.
 
My friend that's a huge Eagles fan and reads all the Eagles related tweets said that's what he's been hearing.
