^ o true.. Thought I might have missed something.. Heard he was good in space from the write ups, just haven't seen him in action yet

14 play drive on their touchdown drive :x

The way I look at it Foles isn't good this year then Chip drafts his QB but I think Foles is the real deal

He would have mostly likely been a 1st rounder in 2011 but because he went back and wasn't he gets scrutinized why too much when he looks off

Yea.. I love that we have this year for him to sink or swim before we have to pay him.. Then we can figure things out in the draft if the worst happens..

Also like having Sanchez, not expecting him to be the savior or anything.. But if we do go another direction from foles, we can draft a guy high and let him sit behind Sanchez while he learns (don't have a ton of faith in Barkley)

It's sucks living in Cali cause the Eagles don't get a lot of coverage out here. Y'all keep me in the loop fortunately. Much appreciation to the whole NT Eagles Thread.

Got bored and went to the Patriots' website to see how the Eagles did from their perspective. Some quotes:

--Based solely on a comparison of joint practice results, the Eagles certainly seem to have a much better defense than the ********. A week ago Brady and the Patriots aerial attack carved up Washington with ease. That was not the case for Tuesdays workouts as Brady found the coverage much tighter, the yards more difficult to earn and even had to pull the ball down without finding an open receiver on a couple occasions.

--Darrelle Revis blanketed Jeremy Maclin in an early 1-on-1 while Kyle Arrington had a nice pass defense on rookie Jordan Matthews. On the other field, Julian Edelman easily beat Bradley Fletcher, while Danny Amendola beat Nate Allen for a would-be touchdown. Malcolm Butler had a nice interception on a ball to rookie Quron Pratt, while Logan Ryan picked up a pass interference call on one of the many flags in the segment.

--Nick Foles found Darren Sproles (yes, that rhymes) for a completion down the left side with Hightower trailing behind in coverage. The linebacker has said he hates chasing little backs in coverage and this was another example of him struggling in that role.

Yea we're probably keeping 6 WRs.. The locks are cooper maclin Mathews and huff.. Brad smith probably too..

I could see maclin maybe getting traded depending on the market.. So 1 spot for maehl Momah benn or damaris

Also depends on the number of RBs we carry.. And sproles also factors into our WRs numbers

Also us going with 3 TEs

Why would we trade maclin and what value would he have?

IF anything let him walk after this year.

Still relatively young.. If teams have injuries in camp/preseason.. I think it's possible since I doubt we resign him.. Maybe a late round pick or something, just to get something

I doubt it happens.. But I didn't see us drafting 2 WRs in the 2nd and 3rd in the draft

Foles will be fine. He is still getting used to throwing with those new flywire jerseys.

Just moved to PA from Cali.....might make it a permanent move if I can land a job out here. I will be at the Linc for week 1! :smokin

Whoever is the 5th and 6th WR has to be adequate on ST, so there's a possibility it's Maehl on one of the last spots :nerd:

I'm in Northeastern NJ, right next to NYC, so Eagles coverage is about 30% since Jets/Giants take priority. I wish Sunday Ticket would come out for Xbox though because there's nothing from Cablevision except Red Zone.

Maclin apparently did pretty well against Revis yesterday in the scrimmage from what was reported by various reporters on the radio stations
