Please lock this one up mods

RB depth is the ast thing I'm worried about. Chris Polk is a solid player and from what I'm reading the other RBs are killing too.

In chip's system he wants to be able to do any and everything with whatever personnel he throws on the field..

He wants defenses to show their hand with their personnel (whether they go nickel or base), then he uses speed to force them to stay with that grouping.. But he wants to be able to run or pass from everything, hence why such a great emphasis on our WRs being able to block (which kept avant on the field last year)




What I was referring is traditional football, if you go with 2 TEs and a FB/h-back.. That's a heavy run formation, you're overloading on both tackles sides plus using a lead blocker for the back

With chip all those guys are receiving threats

I probably worded myself wrong, but I was essentially agreeing and reinforcing what you said haha :lol:
Just to clarify, I agree with what you first posted, just saying that even though a package heavy with TE and RBs may look like a running situation, its still a package that is a threat in the passing game due to the personnel we have (ertz, celek, shady, sproles).
 
I was worried about WR depth once they cut Desean. Last year was Riley's first good year and Maclin tweaked his hammy right? We have tight end depth but not as much pure Wide Receiver from what I've gathered.
 
And to think i was excited for eagles football
Inb4 its only preseason. Dnt care still was looking forward to it
