Our offense got embarrassed today, that 14 points was a mirage. Third down conversions tell it all

Never make it easy for ourselves huh, must win next week vs Dallas. Thank God their defense isn't Seahawks good

I was gonna be like..."How is Doug Baldwin torching us?!?" And then I remembered how atrocious our corners are... :smh: :frown:
 
Too much overreacting. I still remember when our offense fell flat against the ******** in 08 and we still went on a run to the NFC title game. Better our slip up be now against Seattle than against any division opponent. We all knew we would drop either this game or the game next week. Beat Dallas and everything is gucci

i dont understand how some people call themselves a fan but come to a game expecting us to lose , even tho our corners are pure trash i have nothing but high expectations for this team .
 
Most of us are disappointed because we have yet to have a "statement" game. Thanksgiving was nice but games like the SF, ARI, GB, and today were opportunities to prove the "elite" quality of this team. Since we haven't won those games there's still reasonable doubt to what this team is. I think as long as we get into the playoffs anything can happen.

Just hate the fact we let a west coast team come into the house and dominate :x

On to the next.
 
One of the problems for the Eagles is that teams hungry to make a serious playoff run to the Super Bowl improve as the season goes on...look at Seattle as the prime example, earlier in the season that defense was struggling, now all of a sudden they look like the world beaters they were a season ago...

The secondary is toast...they don't play well regardless of what coverage they are in. That's a FACT!....So, what are we gonna do when we start seeing these potent teams in the playoffs again like a Seattle or Green Bay?....

yeah, we're 0-0 like everybody else to start, but still got the same collection of bums back in the secondary that can't keep opposing receivers out of the end zone, and if Chip Kelly doesn't start utilizing McCoy and Sproles a bit more, and keep Sanchez at game management level, we aint gonna do too much once playoffs begin...watch and see

I honestly didn't know how were going to play today.

If we do face them again it needs be more of a physical game by our offense. Polk needs some carriesome dk if he had some health stuff, were going to have to move the pocket, emphasize the TE in the passing.

Seattle is the worst matchup for us because they are probably faster than us while maintaining their physicality.

RW should not be doing that on 3rd down but with our corners...

I thought we could come out on top but at the same time, I wouldn't be upset if we loss. I felt that same way about the GB game.

The games againt SF and ARI, those were games where we SHOULDVE won but didnt
 
I agree with we haven't had a statement but in don't think AZ and the 49ers are what are making them out to be we lost both games by a total of 8 pts.


The GB and Seattle games have been disappoints after seeing the outcomes.

I really felt pretty confident that we would win today

I still looked at it like if both teams play their A game though; we aren't quite on their level yet

people tend to forget this is still year #2 under Chip, this D is gonna be serious once we upgrade corners and replace Nate Allen

All and all I am thrilled with the progress and the place we are at right now

I wouldnt of been upset with a loss either. But, we got DOMINATED

because I believe Sanchez is too much of a liability as a consistent passer to rely on him to get the ball down the field regularly. I feel we need to run more screens and flats and a few play action calls would be nice if we can sustain some continuity with our run game..even Polk does some good things out there when he has the ball usually.

Exactly. That's what's so great about all this, As long as we're playing ball in January anything can happen. I'm sure chip is still learning the little nuances of the nfl as he goes along. Hoping for S or CB in the first round though. Add more pieces to this already steady defense(we've been very very good against the run).

#10 limited jersey (2nd tier) are 39.99 on champs :nerd:
 
The running game wasn't working so play action won't work.
Throwing to the flats against Seattle isn't doing much either.

I would like to seen some screens today and ibdint think Polk was healthy I didn't see him once but I always feel like he could use more touches.

Polk is our only back not being used enough.. We still run the ball a ton though..
 
Not the end of the world.. Seahawks are a good team.. How many teams really have a defense like them?

Seriously, think about it..



We're 9-4.. The sky isn't falling.. We still had shots at the end.. And had mistakes.. And then there were issues with the refs
