I just can't see him falling to us. I would love to have MM8, but I don't think he falls that far.
 
I have no clue what the cost would be for us to move up for mariota.. 2 firsts is definitely the starting point.. Maybe even 3

We can't give up that much , this team has too many needs and holes .. If we address our corner in free agency .

probably 2 firsts plus some other mid level picks

I am still okay with going heavy on D and riding with Foles in a contract year

I trust no QB on the roster.. Both guys just make terrible decisions..

I have no clue how you get to the nfl and miss guys like the way foles and sanchez have done this year




If we could get mariota for say 2 firsts, a 2nd this year and back end picks spread through this and next year.. I say do it
 
I'd be all in for MM8 as long as its not an RG3 deal

Seriously keep your eyes open for a power struggle between Chip and Howie especially if they miss the playoffs
 
Also I'm done with billy Davis.. Dude has done this same thing elsewhere, he's good at getting a team to transition from a 4-3 to a 3-4.. But after that there is a reason he wasn't the coordinator of a good defense..

Literally if our guys can't overwhelm the other team, I don't think we stand a chance.. Like I know we don't stand a chance vs pats, packers or Broncos.. Our secondary would get abused and he wouldnt be able to mask the deficiencies of the guys in our secondary




If Rex gets fired, Do whatever to bring him in for the role

If we do go all in for a franchise QB in the draft (MM8), that hinders the outlook on the CB position since we won't be able to take one of the premier guys in the 1st or second. You gotta give Chip what he needs, and if he says he needs an MM8 type guy in this offense then I think you do everything you can in your power to move up.
 
I don't even think we really need mariota.. But we obviously do need a better QB.. But mariota is just the ideal guy to run his offense (accurate quick thinking who has running ability.. Rodgers and steve young are the prototypes of what we want)

But just seeing the plays that sanchez and foles have missed this year., we just need a guy who can throw the ball accurately.. And if guys could just properly read defenses would be a need for all the risky throws
 
But draft is going to be real interesting.. Don't think chip trusts either guy based on the last two years and when we had need plays
