I don't expect them to gamble for mariota. Hundley expected to go in the 2nd so that would be a smarter and safer move.
If Hundley played for Chip at O then I think he could've been a Heisman candidate as well. I'd love to have a Mariota-Chip duo for the next decade but it just ain't feasible fams.

This loss sucks. Went from super bowl aspirations to this.......
 
We have to fix our defense before we handle the QB position. Thats just my opinion at this time. Let Sanchez go at the end of this season.
 
yea, like aforementioned, draft a CB in round 1, Hundley in 2, pray IEO drops substantially and draft him too. I don't care if a guy is 5'8 5'9, give me a dude who can ball. We'll see if Chip adjusts in year 3, I think his "culture" got the best of him this year.

I always plead for more Polk carries but run game wasn't an issue today.

Our Qb had two terrible turnovers that led to 6 key points
Countless penalties on 3rd down defense most of them just bad and the o-line had so many holding calls
And two missed field goals

crazy how 1 yard can impact the season. The SF game, not going for it on 4&1 today, am I missing another game?

Love that guy. If only we realized how much of a weapon he is all season long.

I've calmed down a bit and just accepted the situation we're in. Even though we've made the playoffs before with even longer odds than this I still am ready to move on from this disastrous collapse. We've still got good players just some major tweaks that need to happen this offseason.
