Please lock this one up mods

I read those this morning

this draft is going to be very, very interesting

also have no idea where they plan to go with free agency this year

I'm hoping that there is a strong possibility of certain teams being burned by the type of QB that they would consider mariota to be and wanting to avoid him/them at all costs.. or that he's a system guy

plus the fact it isn't as expensive as it once was for teams to move up.. so hopefully the rumor of the titans being committed to mettenberger is true.. then ******** sticking with or being turned off by RG3

and maybe that give us room to move up

Yeah I'm really hoping the RG3 effect will make teams not offer a lot to move up but I think MM drops into the 5 range at least

I'd take Maxwell and Cobb

I still fear Maxwell can't earn that contract without Seattles players around him

  • For months, there has been speculation that Philadelphia wants to trade to get Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota and reunite him with Chip Kelly. However, there are rumors going around that the Eagles love UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley. From an athletic skill set perspective, it makes all the sense in the world, as Hundley is a great athlete with mobility to hurt defenses with his feet. He also has a strong enough arm to disrupt the ball throughout the field. The rumor mill is saying that the Eagles are hot for Hundley and would target him much earlier than other teams, as in he could be in play for their first- or second-round pick.

  • Other teams are not fans of Hundley. In fact, we've spoken with multiple teams that have graded him out on the third day of the draft. However, those teams feel that the team that loves Hundley enough to draft him could do it in the second round. Perhaps the Eagles will shock those teams by taking Hundley even higher than they expect. Walt currently has Hundley going atop Round 2 in his 2015 NFL Mock Draft.
If the Eagles decide to target a quarterback early in the draft, they could have a valuable trade commodity in signal-caller Nick Foles. The Texans and Titans would both have an interest in Foles if he were made available. If Peyton Manning decides to retire, the Broncos would also be a team that would look into acquiring Foles. Denver liked Foles when it drafted Brock Osweiler. If the Eagles wanted to trade up for Marcus Mariota, they could deal Foles to get more ammo with picks to move up, or include Foles in the package.

Going need this to continue

“@EliotShorrParks: I haven't talked to one league scout here in Mobile that speaks of Mariota as highly as #Eagles fan do.”

that quentin rollins kid is RAW. Pretty insane the skills he's already displayed with only 1 year of play under his belt. Don't know about immediate impact but I can see him being a play maker in the league eventually.

I also like the size on Gunter from the U. Auburn QB Marshall will be a CB in the NFL too..so keep eyes on him. Dude isn't too eloquent when he speaks so I can't really imagine Chip drafting him . Kevin White from TCU is another guy to watch.

Guys I like from the senior bowl: Rollins and Orchard. Orchard can be the OLB of the future if MSII moves to ILB.

The Rams are interested in trading for Nick Foles. Would Foles, a 4th and swap of 1st rounders be enough or no....

if we can swap 1sts, that means we're getting 2nd round value out of foles..

so I would be satisfied with that

And if it were to happen, do we consider moving up for Mariota or moving down to gather more picks to fix up the secondary
we wont get immediate solutions to our secondary through the draft..

IF we could, i would love to make the move above.. 20 and foles for the 10th pick

then we still have the remainder of our picks to play with.. and hopefully MM8 takes a big of a hit through the draft process (saw there was news that he probably wont be able to throw at the combine because of his shoulder)

we go after Maxwell and mccourty in free agency (then we still have boykin, carroll and Watkins).. and we hope ifo drops to the 3rd, since we might have to use our 2nd to move up again

Seattle is making Maxwell a priority I don't see how we sign him plus with Marriota unable to throw I'm not set on him .

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume chip has seen him throw enough..

hopefully other teams think exactly like you and we don't have to give up the farm to get him
