Chip said Boykin will get a shot to compete for starting CB, along with Nolan and Thurm. I'm thinking Jaylen makes the transition to safety

Jaylen is def gonna play safety IMO

Boykin's Twitter and his cryptic type unappreciated tweets makes me think he might be traded, he wasn't very good last year but it was masked by the fact Fletcher and Cary were God awful

As much as I like evan Mathis, he's going be 34 in November..

i assume if we don't get a decent offer, we'll keep him.. It's exactly what has happened the last two offseasons

As far as dion being unproven, I blame the Dolphins.. Everyone knew going in he was best suited to play OLB in the 3-4.. And they've being trying play him as a DE.. I get playing him as a sam

But if you are a fan of Mathis, you may want to look at his history prior to the Eagles (especially with the Dolphins).. Then rethink exactly what you said about jordan

I would do Boykin for Dion but prefer to keep Mathis and just let him play out his deal this year

Eagles will reportedly bring in WR Miles Austin for a visit this week

best thing for the team for next season, would be keep both.. cause we wont be getting a ton draft pick wise for either..

but if we are intent on moving those guys, i still think dion has a high ceiling once he is put in the right situation (a 3-4 defense where he could use his speed, length and coverage ability).. and he has the whole Oregon thing going for him

boykin would be the bigger lose though.. considering we all know the state of our DBs.. even if just depth wise

with mathis we have tobin, gardner and barbre

Dion kind of reminds me of Graham, he hasn't been used right in his early years

Dion can still be a productive player in this league IMO

we've seen it with a ton of guys who get thrown into systems they just don't fit..

dion measured over 6'6 at 248 lbs at the combine.. no clue why the dolphins would take him with the intent to play his as a full time DE.. said it during the draft (they said they were switching to a 4-3) and it still doesn't make sense

plus i think dude was a TE in high school (which helps his coverage abilities).. and i know chip has used him on that swinging gate play a hand full of times

look at mathis and his career prior to coming to the eagles

chip loves the depth of the WR in this class. I think he goes wr as early as the 2nd. maybe 1st depending on what happens with MM8 and who's sitting there at 20 if they stay put.

Kevin White seems to be dropping a bit, doubt to #20 though

I really like Devante Parker and Devin Smith would be an good pick in the second to me, he is fast as hell but needs to work on his route running

not sure how I feel about Perriman, I don't want to be that team that reaches on him because of a 40 time

We've been heavy with the guy out of USC.. He should be there in the 2nd.. Maybe even 3rd

not a huge fan of Nelson Agholor

I'd be willing to take the chance on Dorial Green-Beckham but Chip probably isn't

guys are going to be there in the 2nd..

and this time last year they were saying we were in love with cody latimer.. I think we wait til the 2nd or 3rd for a WR though.. but then again, I could see parker and strong as guys chip would like

man.. I honestly thought they were just waiting for demeco to get healthy before they cut him so wouldn't need to have an injury settlement..

really hope we don't move kendricks

not going to be happy if they move Kendricks

the DeMeco extension could be nothing more than reducing the cap hit which is what I hope for
