A few months ago, Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu was in the running to be the top-ranked corner, but then he suffered a knee injury during bowl practice before Oregon's game against Florida State. It was said to be a torn ACL, but team sources I've spoken to say the knee injury was much worse and was along the lines of Marcus Lattimore or Willis McGahee's rather than a simple ACL tear like the one suffered by Georgia running back Todd Gurley or Texas A&M offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi.

Sources say that Ekpre-Olomu tore more than an ACL and there was a variety of damage done to his knee. At one point, there were some teams' medical staffs that were wondering if lingering effects of the injury would force Ekpre-Olomu to retire before every playing again, like Lattimore. However, recent checks have been more positive and teams feel that Ekpre-Olomu has a shot at playing again.

The injury is significant enough, however, that some teams are putting Ekpre-Olomu in their undrafted prospect group. A contact from one team thinks that Ekpre-Olomu could have a shot at going on day three of the draft like Lattimore did, but their team doesn't have a round grade on Ekpre-Olomu because of the medical report. They have Ekpre-Olomu as an undrafted free agent as well.

Going be a long week.. I'm trying not to get overly invested in anything I hear leading up to Thursday..

But saw they are saying mm8 trade could go down after the draft.. And Bradford believes he could be moved since no contract extension talks

I think Chip finds a way to get MM8, what he gives up is going to be interesting

I really don't believe the Titans want him and I don't understand why they would want Rivers at this point. They have the most holes of any team in the league IMO.

If that crazy rumor of us offering 19,20, Cox, and Kendricks is true they would make out like such bandits. Man I'll be really sad if we give up Cox I really think he's a top 5 d-linemen in this league moving forward here. Obviously franchise QB is the most important thing and I really want Mariota, but not if we have give up Cox plus all those other assets.

Either way I can't wait for draft day so we get a resolution.

Mark Eckel who is pretty respected put out Cox, Kendricks and Bradford for the #2 which gets us MM8

No picks and we still get #20, I would do that because you get a rookie QB and you are starting fresh

Don't see any way the Titans do that deal without picks. All three of those guys are up for contract extensions in the next two years and will likely get big pay days. Titans are rebuilding right now, they definitely value picks over veterans.

Had this crazy dream last night about the draft. It wasn't about me watching it, it was just the draft itself. I woke up out of excitement that Mariota wasn't taken in the first few picks. I think I'm losing my mind.

On a (slightly) less crazy note, I'm ok with a lot of these trade scenarios that involve Bradford, Kendricks, and a pick or two. I just don't want to lose Cox.

Can't believe some you all are ok with letting Cox and Kendricks go smh

I'll take my chances with Bradford before I let out 2 best defensive players go

I look at it like...

you have to sign both to big contracts this year, if you get MM8 then you aren't ready to win for 2-3 years so I am good with taking the chance you replace them

I prefer to keep Cox, Kendricks is basically a wash with Kiko the way I look at it if you get MM8

I look at it like weve been crappy at QB for the last how many years..

If we're going to take bigger steps we need a franchise QB..

Look at the Texans and jj watt.. He's easily one of the best players in the whole nfl and that team ain't doing much without a QB

a franchise QB is bigger than anyone on an NFL team

they could strike out with MM8 but I am willing to take the chance when we have 0 SB's

I'll be okay with a lot of the trade scenarios that have been posted. Getting a potential franchise QB is a lot more important IMO. And guys, what the **** do we have to lose? We haven't won a SB yet so why not go all in? **** it  I'll roll with Bradford and the squad we have if MM8 isn't there, and I'll roll with MM8 and whatever guys we have if it happens.

I am pretty much in the same boat, I want MM8 but would roll with Bradford

as time as sank in I realize I think Bradford can be a good QB in this league but I still want that Aaron Rodgers type QB

I think hundley could be real good with chip.. Granted he would need a year or two
