Positives last night

-Jenkins was all over the field ..I like the idea of him being kind of a rover and extra LB
-Fletcher Cox is a damn man
-Bradford is accurate as hell
-Sproles and Matthews beside the drop are going to carry the O
-Barwin was great in coverage
-We might have something in Thurmond

We all know the negatives

I tend to believe the real Eagles played in the 2nd half

Let's move on to kicking Dallas's ____

I think a lot of us got so caught up in the potential with this team that we completely overlooked the fact that we have a lot of new players playing together in a real game for the first time.

New running backs, QB, receivers in new roles, and a completely different secondary. The talent is obviously there, but the chemistry clearly isn't (At least it wasn't in the first half).

We'll be alright.

its rough going to work after a loss and having to deal with cowboy fans especially when we lose and they win

we should offer something for chancelor....but this was a frustrating game...the penalties were brutal...2 things that worry me is that maxwell looked flat footed and slow and parkey...parkey has been been shaky and i think for sure he has lost his confidence...that needs to be addressed asap

Parkey is hurt from what I can gather

I don't think there is a need to over react here about this team, it was game 1 and they are essentially playing together in their first real game

Bradford looked very good in the 2nd half, the secondary is a concern but the front 7 should get their act together

Eagles need to go home and make a statement on Sunday

^ yea.. they are saying he had his leg wrapped after the game.. same problem from the preseason

not really feeling this parkey kicker dude blew it last year to vs washington

if hes hurt why is he kicking he was missing FG in pre season to

Maxwell was targeted 11 times, giving up 10 catches for 179 yds.
Bradley Fletcher never gave up more than 8 catches or 168 yds

Cary Williams gave up 757 yards last season.
Maxwell gave up roughly a 1/4th of that (179) in one game.
#Eagles

Secondary is in a bad spot IMO. Thurm is on a 1 year deal, Rowe isn't seeing the field anytime soon, and Jacorey will be coming back from an ACL. Man I thought Max was the goods, he needs to put that money aside and get back to that 6th round draft pick state of mind

Comparing him to Bradley Fletcher and Cary is a joke ..Fletcher is the worst CB in the league

There isn't a CB in the league who can cover him in the way Bill Davis ******ed *** decided to do

Eliot Shorr Parks is a dip****

People need to stop overreacting to one game go listen to what B Dawk said about Maxwell and calm down

what did he say? I didn't catch it.

I think everyone was over reacting to pre season which then turned into people over reacting after yesterdays loss

A lot of questions about what the hell bill Davis was doing on defense

1st why demeco got so many snaps

Then with having kendricks, kiko, barwin, Jenkins and Thurmond as our LBs and safeties, thought we would go zone earlier or a lot more.. Rather than having guys chase guys all over the field..

Also didn't get personnel groupings.. Like on some obvious passing downs:

I'm sorry but dude need to adjust his defense ASAP , this is every single year .. And he always gets fire as a D coordinator.

We need Nelson to come along quick to challenge the deeper parts of the field and ertz to get back healthy..

Only throw Bradford had over 20 yards was to miles

But billy gotta know to go with kiko and kendricks for an overwhelming majority of the snaps.. Hell, I want to see some 4 man fronts with barwin, kendricks and kiko as LBs (kendricks in the middle).. Then we go with curry, graham, cox and Logan

We all knew demeco no longer had the speed to be out there before his injury.. I'd rather see the rookie and that's with things padded

There is a reason the team was better of when demeco went down and that's saying a lot considering who was replacing him

I think everyone needs to just calm down a little bit but yeah Davis has some questionable personnel groupings, he also should have switched into a zone once Julio was toasting us

If they look bad against Dallas then we are in trouble

I'm feeling pretty good about tomorrow, this team should be fired up as all hell after that Atlanta clunker

yup it's the home opener too.

now I'm trying to figure out what to have during the game.

What's everyone's go to snacks/foods for the games?
