Trade down and stock up on defense. There's no one player we can draft high that can make this team into a playoff team.

Lechler and a lot of the defensive players played their last game for us.

We might have to trade the 3rd pick.

I hope we keep lechler. He's been our best Defensive Player

Just waiting for Knapp to get the Axe so I can flood this with celebration gifs. Can't believe the season is over already.....Well we shall see what's in store.

I'd like to keep the offense intact with a new coordinator and o-line depth.

Defense...Oh boy....I don's want to hear the name Giordano ever again.

I like Wheeler and Burris. Just need a middle anchor to complete it.

Any1 think we getting Teo with our 3rd pick? And I'm ready to see Pryor be our starter next season

I don't think we take Te'o. More likely Star or (ideally) Jarvis Jones.

I hope McClain never plays another down for the Silver and Black

Seymour is most likely going to get cut

It's time to usher in a new era. Bring King from the practice squad and let Lechler go. As far as the draft is concerned, I doubt we're able to trade down...I just feel like there aren't any players coming out that will warrant a team moving up to Top 5.

Ideally, a player shows out in an incredible way in one of these bowl games and an impatient/dumb GM panics and offers what he can for that player.

That's true. There's a ton of time between now and April. Maybe a player shows out at the combine or individual workouts. It would be nice if one of the standouts was a QB.

Hopefully Geno gets some hype so we could get some team to trade with us.

If they think Geno is that good than do it but I'd rather trade down and stock up depth.
Our biggest needs are a pass rusher, a nose tackle, cb, and a rt.

On defense, we played really well for the last quarter or so of the year. We improved w/o Seymour and McClain, they're both gone.
I liked Tarver and I liked the 3-4 sets towards the end of the year. Given our current personal, the 3-4 wasn't set to succeed but you can tell the roster is changing towards a 3-4 one.


Defensive line: We still need passrushers and a NT badly.
Houston is a keeper. I hope we resign Andre Carter. I like Kelly but he's gone. Bilukidi and Bryant played well. Tollefson should be cut.
Shaugnessy is good against the run but he's terrible at pass rushing. He's a free agent so if he leaves I'm not tripping, but if he's cheap he can come back.
Crawford was pretty much redshirted. Dealt with injuries too... he can be a DE in a 3-4 set.

LBs:I like Wheeler at one of the MLB spots and Burris as a WLB in the 3-4. Gaither was much better than McClain, he's good to have for depth reasons.
McClain won't be here next year, so another MLB is needed. I'd love Arthur Brown from K-State but unless we trade back and pick up a 2nd rounder, I doubt that happens.
.Burnett has potential in the 3-4 as well.
We just need a gamebreaking pass rusher badly. They've been using Houston as a LB in the 3-4 but idk.

DBs: We need corners. Huff did an ok job but he should be a Safety. I think it'd be unfair to cut him after playing him out of position the whole year. Adams, Ross and Chekwa are all young and have potential but they're probably nothing more than depth. We need starters. idk if Spencer is coming back, he played ok before he got hurt, I like Hanson in the slot.
Tyvon Branch is a keeper. Get Gio out. Mike Mitchell annoys me, but he has heart lol.

Offense: we need a TE. Myers can catch but he can't block, let him walk. On the line I'd like a RT and another G.
Wiz and Veldheer have their 2 spots held down but we can upgrade everywhere else. Nix and Bergstorm are young so I'm not sure what to make of them.
I hope Willie Smith is gone. I hate him.

I like our WR core, but DMoe has to be more consistent and DHB can't be afraid. I think Streater is the best wr on our team.
It seems like we have a bunch of #2/3 and not a true #1.

Our offense isn't that far away, there are playmakers on our team. If we could just get a competent Offensive Coordinator, things could be swell next year.
Someone who call more WR Screens and better screens in general, who uses our best weapon more efficiently, etc. If we don't fire KNAPP I will be very disappointed.
I think DA is asking to be fired if he doesn't get rid of him.

I think our ST coach has to go to. Also bye Lechlar, you're a Raiders legend but you cost too much $$.

I'm really interested to see what we do in the free agent market. Toffelson and Brisiel were misses but I would welcome Andre Carter and Phillip Wheeler back.
This will be our most interesting offseason in years.

How in the world Lovie gets fired before Knapp is beyond me....I wish I didn't have work today so I could drive to Alameda and volunteer to help him pack.
