Jason La Confora - "The Browns and Eagles will both pursue Chip Kelly aggressively. Eagles also high on Jay Gruden. Both like Bill O'Brien as well ..."

A little shocked Rex Ryan is staying after the way the season ended.

Easy to blame Rex, but it's more on the front office and what he was given to work with.

Jets lost Holmes, Revis and a few other main pieces for the season earlier on. Organization brought in Tebow, when he obviously didn't want to. He'd never publicly admit that though.

Sporano was a terrible offensive play caller and the FO never got the right pieces in place to develop Sanchez. Rex Ryan has a ground and pound approach, which is winning football in the NFL, but you need the personnel to do that. Shonne Green wasn't the answer and the FO failed to address the RB issue for two straight years.

With a banged up defense, Rex Ryan managed to keep the Jets in the top 10 on defense as well.

Only thing I'd say Rex should be criticized on was how he handled the QB situation. He could've handled it a lot better. It didn't have to get to the point where it wasn't an option playing Tebow. Dude kept saying Sanchez was his guy so often and early that it wasn't even and option anymore to play him. It was like if he played Tebow, he would've lost the team.

Ugly season for the Jets, but next year Ryan will be on a short leash.

Couple of things the Jets need to address though.

1. New Offensive Coordinator
2. New QB
3. RB that can actually produce a 1000+ yard season.
4. Younger linebackers
5. Pass Rusher
6. Better Right Tackle
7. Different approach to the game. Rex has to find a way to get that locker room together. Jets been having locker room issues for 2-3 seasons now.

Hallelujah!!!!!!! :lol Never liked Marty, But I will miss Andy the presser is gonna be bittersweet. He's a great guy and a very good coach but its just time for a change

We let Donovan get traded on Easter now Big Red is gone on NYE, wild. Bring us Chip Kelly, Mike McCoy, or Bill O'Brien and take us back to prominence.

Also saw on twitter some rumblings that Lovie Smith in Chicago could be on the hot seat as well...Black Monday is too real.

Andy Reid should go to Chicago, offensive minded with Cutler and Marshall and Forte would do them wonders.

7-1 start and then you dont make the playoffs, no complaints about that firing.

There's a lotta franchises who would love to be in the Bears position year in and year out these past couple seasons. Dude will find another job. So will Andy Reid.

Now Norv Turner had a window that has clearly passed. SD needs a change asap

Titans should consider a change if the right candidate becomes available. Team has been below average to mediocre for way to long. I miss the early 2000's :frown:
