Peyton was better than Tom Brady in every statistical category minus passing yardage. Aaron Rodgers went 11-5. You're just trying to find a way to squeeze your QB into the MVP discussion. If we were going by pure stats, then why isn't Drew Brees in the discussion?

There is no rebuttal needed. The MVP race is between Peyton, AP, and Megatron.

I don't think you can win MVP if your team didn't make the playoffs cause clearly you aren't THAT valuable. AP or Peyton. Either one wins I don't care. Hell of a year for both :pimp:

 :smh: at Megatron.

Brady has more Touchdowns, yards, less interceptions and beat Manning in one of his only 3 relevant games though. But that's not even the point. I never even said he should be the MVP. I said he and Rodgers should be in the discussion. There is nothing crazy about that. Yet you think there is no reason to.

No I'm not trying to squeeze my QB in the discussion. I just listed a bunch of valid reasons and you had nothing to say other than a sarcastic remark. Where did I say we were going by pure stats? Yes stats matter...when you're already in the playoffs. Even then Rodgers has Manning beat statistically.

You're falsely accusing me of basing my argument purely by stats yet you have Calvin Johnson on a 4 win team as you're 3rd MVP option

No rebuttal needed indeed. As in I no longer need one due to your extreme bias for Manning and god awful and hypocritical logic behind Calvin Johnson. You're spot on with AP being in the discussion though. I'll give you that.

Happy New Years I'm out. Will try to figure out reasoning behind Calvin Johnson when I'm getting ****faced. I'm sure that is how you came to that conclusion.

Was at the Skins game Sunday and talk about a playoff atmosphere. Place was jumping. Couple of fights in the parking lot from salty Cowboys fans

My boy is a Cowboys fan so talk about an awkward ride home

What do you mean Peyton Manning doesn't get enough respect? Who here has been bashing Peyton Manning. No one is discrediting what he's done. No one is treating him like Joe Flacco

Everyone knows how good he is. No one has a vendetta on him. Everyone knows he may be the most talented QB to ever play. But you keep throwing information that we already know down our throws throats. Peyton has been there for 5 months. We all know this. Tim Tebow took an 0-5 Broncos team to the playoffs in 11 weeks and won a playoff game. Fact of the matter is that the Broncos have a great team outside of the QB position and have the weakest division in all of Football.
Should Manning be in the discussion? Sure. But your acting as if its laughable if anyone else like Rodgers or Brady should be in the discussion. A slew of excuses...

theyre valid points. He plays in the best division in the NFL, hasn't had a healthy O-line all year and has been sacked 30 times more than manning. His two top ten WR's have only played 5 games together. Gets dicked early in the year and loses a playoff bye due to it. Yet he wins his next 10 of 11 games and cruises to the playoffs anyway. He has the best QBR in the league, has 4 more TD's and 3 less Ints. But no one talks about it because he didn't break his own QBR record, score 50 touchdowns with only 6 picks. These aren't excuses these are valid points.
The only excuses I'm seeing are that Rodgers didn't replicate the best season a QB has ever had and that Manning came off an injury. There's a separate award for that. You put Manning behind the Packers line and he may need 4 more surgeries.
If NT has a vendetta against anyone it's Tom Brady who should also be in the discussion. But you won't mention that because Manning can't beat him. And then use another excuse about cameras that happened 5 years ago.

 at Peyton doesn't get enough respect

He's one of the greatest regular season QBs we've ever seen but he doesn't get enough respect. ok

MVP is the most valuable player to their respective team.

You remove AD from that Vikings team and ask Ponder to lead them and that's a 4-6 win team.

Remove Rodgers from the packers it's 6 win team if not less behind that shaky Oline and team ravaged by injuries.

Remove Peyton, and oh hey look, they are a 8-8 division winning playoff team.

Tim ******g tebow lead that team, the same tebow that couldn't get on te field for the jets, the same tebow that was only shown interest from the jags, and it wasn't for a QB perspective, just to sell tickets.

If things play out, we could get GB at SF next week, is that right? I'm sorry AP, but damn I would love to see a rematch of that game. That would be one of the best matchups of the postseason imo.
