But this year, damn. I thought I was overwhelmed looking at last years line up. White/Red I's, Black/Red XIII, White/Red V's all in January? Then Black/blue I in Feb, and march is packed too! Damn, I'm ashamed about how much I've spent last year/this year.

Couldn't get the Bred XI, which was the shoe I wanted most.

IVs - Cavs, BREDS

VIs - Olympic

 

Only ones I'm salty I missed/passed on were the Playoff XIIs, Obsidian VIIs, and Thunder IVs but glad I got lots of other awesome stuff (Penny Vs, Reebok Qs, a buncha old AF1s....)

Never "collected", never have and never will have the "Pokemon" mentality (*Show really messed you kids up,). Been buying since I got my first gig in '98.

Only scooped what I liked...

1. White/Cement IV's - '99s were long gone, needed a replacement.
2. Obsidian/White XII's - Have the lows, needed the mid-top of this classic.
3. Fire Red IV's - Needed another pair, wrecked one of my "Mars" pairs, still have one pair DS.
4. Black/Red IV's - Needed a replacement for the 99's, refused to get bamboozled into buying the CDP a couple of years back, worth the wait.
5. Military IV's (Gave them away) - Got a replacement pair, love the colorway, still have a pair from 2006 DS. A friend wanted them, didn't get them so gave them to him.

Five pairs, it's crazy to think about. I used to buy Jordan's in crazy numbers. I'm still buying shoes in relatively crazy numbers just in different areas (Nike, Vans, JP's, Allen Edmonds, etc).

Although I love the idea of owning the Black/Red IV's once again, I'm really disappointed in the quality.

Yea there was a lot of hate for those shoes but VIs and VIIs are my favorite Jordan's.
I saw them in person before release and just had to have them.
I'm used to people loving or hating my shoes, my foamposites are hated by the whole city of Chicago.

Never got to see 'em in person, really wanted those obsidians just thought the look worked very well and it would fit well with a lot of other pieces in my closet but then once they said how limited they were they were gone in seconds when everyone 'hated' 'em -.-;;

Playoff XII-Only purchased because my 04 pair was separating at the midsole and I couldn't fix it.
Obsidian XII-Didn't like or purchase the lows and had been waiting for them to release in their original form.
BC IV-Always wanted some.

These were the only ones I really wanted out of all the releases. I likede plenty of the other releases but I'm unable and unwilling to pay $1,000-$2,000+ for shoes. No offense to those that did.
