I think the same can be said for GGG though. He is willing to get hit because he is a stalker basically he will take some punches to close the space to get to you. But the only boxer that really seemed to be willing to let go of his hand vs him was Rosado and you saw his face after that fight.......

Macklin was in straight panic mode after taking a couple shots from GGG. Idk what it is but dude has scary power and everyone who fights him feels it and is afraid of it. I don't know who i would consider better, him or lucas, but dude has an insane amateur background and is willing to fight anyone.

And i know it doesn't count for anything but Sergio tweeted he will fight GGG when healthy as long as he has one warm up fight before. And GGG is supposed to fight 5 times this year or something insane. If i were HBO i would throw the bank at him. He is my favorite boxer to watch fight. He is a beast in the ring. Will walk you down and make you feel it.
 
JKing, I'm pretty sure HBO has been financing him pretty heavily and said they'll continue to do it. As long as they don't rush a Ward fight, I'm all for it.

Good to know repped...it seems like showtime is taking all the good fights these days sadly...i don't have showtime....and we all know HBO loves...LOVES andre ward. But he isn't the most exciting boxer for casual fans. And it seems like the Donaire bubble has deflated. They really don't have too much else going for them.
 
As a fan, you gotta have both HBO and Showtime nowadays. I know my cable company has a package where you get both for a bit of a discount. It's all going to be HBO/Top Rank & Showtime/GBP for the forseeable future unfortunately.

I do want to see Ward/GGG eventually, don't get me wrong. I just think MW is a very deep division right now that he could potentially clean out in the next few fights. You have the Geale/Barker winner, JCC Jr, KC, Murray & Sturm.
 
I told you fools pages back that GGG is poised to be the next superstar. I just can't get over how funny he looks. Like if he is walking down the street he wouldnt come off as intimidating at all.

Diego Chaves is fighting Keith Thurman later this month.

I'm hoping Chaves can pull the upset and play the spolier similar to his countrymen like Maidana, Martinez and Abregu.

Funny? I can't even begin to think he's funny looking when there's human beings like Ruslan Provodnikov walking the streets. That dude doesn't even look human.
 
not sure I buy it, but all the boxing "experts" swear golden boy is going to load up the sept 14 card(they said the same about the Floyd VS ghost fight tho)

Cotto fighting K9 or Molina? Either one is a joke. And Cotto is dumb if he's going to HBO, he needs to just wait for Canelo and take his 10 million dollar whooping.
