i dont think so, you dont get in and leave cause of one lost. plus he has been trying to sign younger talent

That's not the only one. Gamboa didn't look too good in his last outing and it looks like he's blaming 50 for his name being associated with PEDs.

gamboa is donezo , hurts to say as a cuban but you cant teach an old dog new tricks

lopez losing a few years back and the huge layoff destroyed his momentum and he's

still making the same mistakes he was making 4 years back

that would be a dope match up , juan ma gotta stay outside and out work him and try to cutoff the ring

what i'd pay to see the look on bob arums face when juan ma lost

thats the main reason i hate bob arum , its one thing to be greedy and money hungry

but he hurts his own pockets while destroying the sport

juan ma vs gamboa ppv in 2010 does ATLEAST 400k

winner fights nonito

winner goes up to 140 for a year and fights pac

dude is doing EVERYTHING wrong

and putting him against salido twice is a troll move

oscar learned his lesson with khan , dont put your prospect against

a dude that tko's your fighter......twice

Highly doubt seeing anyone jumping weight classes that drastically, unless your name is Juan Manuel Marquez

A lot of interesting fights to be made anywhere from 126-140.

True, but in all honesty, nobody expected Juanma to get blasted by Salido when they first met, let alone twice.  I think Bob Arum was trying to set up Gamboa vs. Lopez in 2011, but when Salido TKO'd him those plans went out the window.

As with most prize fighters, the first half of their career is heavily padded, and a lot of fighters meet their match or are exposed when it is time for them to step up in competition.  After all, styles make fights.

forgot which fight it was but he broke the compubox record for punches twice in one fight in like 08 , i thought he was the next one up man........

I thought about it some since last nite and Im even more conviced JuanMa will Murder gary Russell Jr.

Russell aint fought NO ONE with JuanMa's punching power. If Solido didnt have such a good chin, he woulda been outta there.
Russells quick but he's not on Rafa's level and JuanMa did alot with Rafa. (shockingly to me)
Russel gonna land like 3 or 4 crisp quick shots and then JuanMa is going to throw a Left Hook from Hell. Fight Over.

and on the Low, JuanMa's Check hook could probably end it too.

While I do agree that Russell Jr. has fought a lot of fighters that get overwhelmed early, I think he'd be a tough out for JuanMa.  He certainly passes the eye test and his hand speed and overall athleticism would keep him in any fight.  I think he will continue to improve over the next year or so despite being brought along slowly.  With that being said, I don't expect him to fight any of the top fighters at 126 until 2015 at the earliest.

Guess the rumors had some validity; Adrien Broner may very well be moving up to 147 as soon as this upcoming June.

I personally think it would be best for Adrien to clean out 135, move up to 140 and take on Rios, Matthysse, etc.  But I understand that boxing is a business, and HBO is surely looking to make him a PPV star, with potential matchups with Mayweather, Marquez, Bradley, and Pacquiao.  It should be interesting to say the least.

Mayweather has a deal with Showtime in case you missed or forgot. I doubt he and Mayweather will ever face each other though.

Broner recently stated that he "doesn't want to fully commit to a network", which was most likely due to Floyd making the move to Showtime.  And If he really wanted to be the next one to collect the torch, he'd attempt to fight Floyd.

Mayweather by 11th round stoppage.  Guerrero will walk into a lot of counters.  The straight right hand won't miss!

This will be the easiest fight for Floyd I see a total dominant performance much like when he beat Mosley except Guerrero won't even land a significant punch.

I think Broner could even beat Guerrero right now

I don't think this fight will be much trouble for Floyd either.  Guerrero won't be able to fight dirty on the inside like he did against Berto, and Floyd actually knows how to use the shoulder roll.

On a side note, I saw the video where the two fighters were face to face and Guerrero looked like a chump.  I know we're still 2 months out, but Guerrero doesn't look like a guy that is preparing for the fight of his life.  His body looks soft and sloppy, while Floyd looks close to fighting form.

one guy was already in shape and one guy is about to use training camp to get into shape.

floyd is going to wash that clown
