** Soccer/Futbol/Football Feet, Kits and Gear - 2013 **

Correct, all Adidas kits will feature those namesets.

However, Nike is different...so different countries carry different fonts.

I love the jersey but going all white doesn't look as good as I thought it would. I think it would look better with the traditional black shorts. The pattern would stand out more.
Another pic of the Germany Kit. So weird for germany to have white shorts.
I'm sure that Adidas and the dfb probably would have preferred something traditional too.  I have a feeling the design choice was to adhere to FIFA's current regulations concerning equipment.  The teams all have to have a predominantly light kit and a predominantly dark kit.  All white certainly qualifies as predominantly light.  Remember in the '10 final when the Dutch had to wear all orange (shirt, shorts, socks)?  That wasn't traditional either, but they needed to contrast with Spain's all navy kit, since the two teams couldn't take the field wearing red and orange.

I will say the adidas WC kits have all been nice which is a first for me. I haven't seen one I haven't liked so far. I can't say the same for some of the Nike WC kits, the Brazil home in particular is terrible. That v-neck thing is horrible. I keep saying it looks like a shirt from the women's tennis line...

That's only IF there's a clash in primary kit colors. That's usually where change shorts and socks come into play. In the example you used, it was Holland who had to use their orange change shorts, so to not clash their primary black shorts with Spain's navy shorts.

Most of the time, Germany's traditional look doesn't clash often with any teams. This monochrome look is something new adidas is doing. They're doing the same with Spain, which typically doesn't go all red either but will be with their new kits as shown above.

It seems Adidas has shot their load 7 months too early. So much for the anticipation of what's up for the WC.

Eeeeh, not really feeling the new Spain or Germany kit. Is it just me or is Ozil's jersey too big on him?

The Colombia and Sweden kit though :pimp:

Now that I've thought about it more, the only criticism I have of the German shirt is it doesn't have the complete colors of the German flag that has typically embraced the front of their shirt...

Short of that all the adidas WC kits look great. Wow @ the Columbia & Sweden kits. The 3 stripes did a great job...

Pics look nice IJumpmanI, except for that ratbirds helmet in the backround of the first pic. :rolleyes :D I think the alternate laces look better with those boots though. It kinda makes them pop.

louislagerfeld - You beat me to the punch... I was reading through Mundo Deportivo online & saw that & was like :x. I like that orange Barca shirt. Interested to see what the 3rd "alternate" shirt is going to be? I'd like that mint green to come back. I always liked that kit...
