** Soccer/Futbol/Football Feet, Kits and Gear - 2013 **

I love the new CR7 galaxy boots. I think they look amazing and even cooler with the secondary laces they come with in that baby teal color.
The n7 hypervenoms look great too, is the upper different on them? You can't see the nike skin upper on them. Maybe the design kinda hides it or maybe they will have a different upper

How those the adidas ac Milan kit run? Nike they run a little bit small. I had to get a large

true to size or a little small.... similar to the nike shirts. if you're buying online, i would buy both a M and L return whichever doesn't fit.

I'll answer this.

Adidas replicas fit looser than a nike replicas. However, the authentics almost fits 2 sizes too small. Also, the 2012/2013 black 3rd replica was a size too small. I was apprehensive when buying the 2013/2014 3rd gold and fortunately the sizing was consistent to the home and away.

I feel like Adidas kits are not consitant with their sizing for replicas year to year. Best bet is like someone said before, buy both and just return one so you are sure you got what you need

i hope that we'll be able to buy the dutch gear without the ING logo as has been the case in the past, but i don't have high hopes for that. i think there's a weird FIFA rule that countries can train in gear that has ads on it for the world cup, but only if they don't have a match within 24 hours.... so the dutch will be wearing training gear with and without the ING logo. ads definitely won't be worn pre-match.
I actually like like the logo on their training gear :\

Not like you didn't know but the CR7 "galaxy" boots are available today. Just wanted to show what else was going to be in his collection. Feeling the jacket on the lower left

hold up. I must have missed this.

but is that an AM1 I see? :nerd:

any info?

I like the new CR7s... I was going to get the indoor version for his upcoming futsal season but like louislagerfeld, he didn't like 'em. :rolleyes

DO NOT, AND I REALLY MEAN DO NOT, BUY THEM FOR YOUR SON.
Takedown Mercurial models tend to be cheaply made and for some reason the heel is a bit higher than the more expensive Vapor counterpart. If you want your son to keep his Achilles heels healthy, don't do it. Cop him something else. My boy has the Elastico Finale II with the NikeSkin upper and they're :pimp:
I bought myself the silver Mercurial Victory IV TF to play futsal on turf, and once I tried them on it was a wrap. As soon as I started walking they started rubbing against my Achilles heel and I had to send them back ASAP. I was wearing crew socks by the way, so that just shows you how cheap the takedown models are. I have absolutely no problem with my Achilles heels rubbing in my Mercurial Seaweed Vapor 8s
I'm currently using the T90 Shoot IV TF to play futsal, but they're heavy and still have not formed to my foot. Thinking on copping the Bomba Finale II

Thanks for the info but he's worn the kids/youth turf version of the Mercurial last year - the Metallic Platinum/Electric Green/Black colorway & he loved them (NIKE JR MERCURIAL VICTORY IV TURF).

The current model is the same exact shoe & actually, his whole team wore that one in various colorways last season; the teal/orange, the seaweed, & that black & pink CR7 colorway.

He didn't like the galaxy upper anyway so he's gotta pick something else. I'm going to wait until later because he's due for a growth spurt.

if you're worried about blisters or cuts on your achilles, just wear double socks.... i'm sure it's a personal preference type of thing, but i can't glorify the benefits of double socks enough.

get him some TRU-SOX.  if they make them small enough, they won't let your foot slip at all.

$40 bucks, but I"d trade $40 for no blisters

Nike hasn't done Juventus justice in years, it's probably for the best. Adidas does well with striped teams, love what they do with AC Milan's kit every year. I'm sure they'll get unique with Juve.

I feel the exact opposite and think Nike has even done better with striped teams lately (esp. in La Liga).

I also went ahead and copped the away shorts in a size M. To those who told me to size up were right, these fit just right.
what's your waist size? and how big are the thigh openings on those? i'm one of those S-to-M size purchasers too. thanks

Need our last N98 BAAAAAD....
Just not trying to drop $80+ on it....
Any idea on where to cop in the 50-60 range?
just wait it out. you might not be able to get the two OG CWs for that price, because those are pretty damn decent imo and i can see them eventually selling through. but they always make new CWs for the second half of the season and those always seem to sit. prices will drop on those as they always do. NTers are all worried about the change to Puma, but i bet the average Gooner is going to want all the new stuff once the change-over occurs. hopefully, that means all the swoosh branded gear can hit those clearance prices you're looking for.

i'm hoping they make a yellow n98 before they call it quits. a simple reversal of the current away n98's colors, yellow for blue-blue for yellow, would be perfect.

I know that this has probably been asked a million times but I'm still confused. This is my first jersey and was wondering what size to get. I usually wear a large t-shirt

if you wear a large t-shirt, a large jersey should be fine. $100 for a LS climacool without name and number though...

A yellow n98 would be lovely... Normally I do wait, and cop gear towards the end of the season on disco or at nike outlets... I was just hoping to see if anyone had seen a better deal or found any disco codes online... Believe me, I have no issue waiting to get better deals, I just copped the red 125th Anniv n98 for $50 and the Black purple N98 (last year's "away" so to speak) for $40 on ebay (in the last month)... Not sure how i feel about Puma gear, as my sneeakerhead inclinations will push me to buy some puma kicks to "match"/go with the new jersey... SMH

^I can't answer your question even though it is sprinkled in here almost every page about the fitting sizes. but last tuesday during the Champions league when RM did play I look at Sergio Ramos' jersey and it looks like its a 3/4 sleeve jersey. I want one of those, I don't care if it is RM or not, do they sell those or is it actually just a LS? the picture ajs713 posted even looks like a 3/4 shirt
