The GOAT of BBQ sauces....

Its all about Baby Rays! If any of y'all Walking Dead Fans caught the first ep of the new season, It showed a bottle of it inside a refrigerator that Rick and Carl crashed at. Sweet Baby Rays has gone Hollywood!! :smokin

Ya really going in on this sweet baby rays BBQ sauce. I'm gonna try it out.
I just started liking mustard, I've been ding it wrong this whole time getting my hot dogs with ketchup only.

I remember when I worked at Wal-Mart back in the day in receiving, and a box of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce fell off the assembly line and all the bottles came out. One of my co-workers was like, "Dats dat sweet baby rays sauce, you eva tried dat James?" I'm like nah...So I opened up a bottle and tasted some. I clocked out early and went home that day, just to make some BBQ baked chicken with that sauce. :smokin

So of the sauces you've all had and mentioned here, what's the viscosity of them? meaning is it thick like honey or does it run like water? because the best ones in those competitions and that aren't really for sale run down like water. SBR is average, and Kinder's which is local for me has pretty high viscosity. Other sauces mentioned here are new to me and local around your parts, so I can't tell obviously. Viscosity also plays a big in cooking with it.

end rant but just asking

Lol what bbq was you using before sbr.

U seem like a very knowledgeable guy... Where can I purchase the jack daniels sauce used at tgi fridays?
The sauce used at TGI Fridays is a glaze, I haven't found it in stores except for the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce which is different, but the actual Fridays glaze is much better and easy to make. I use it on my ribs.

The recipe:
(1) teaspoon onion powder
(1) teaspoon Tabasco
(2) tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup jack Daniels
(1) cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
(4) beef bouillon cubes
(2) tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

All you do is combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, bring it to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Repped! Just made my day fam, I can save Money now

i just make my own melt butter in any good hotsauce
also add a lil honey for that spicy and sweet taste

your tastebuds hate you

no they dont, ive had both a million times.

like i said, Sweet is great for dipping but it sucks for actual grilling.

id like to find some other sauces, i once made my own mixing some brands and doing my own stuff to em, was pretty amazing on chicken.
