How do you guys protect your Dark Elixir? I keep getting hit by lightning spell attacks or dudes who are much stronger for me and they'll get me for 1,000 - 2,000 dark elixir in one attack. I hardly get attacked otherwise. I have a good base set up and all my defenses are maxed except two of three hidden tesla's and a few archer towers which all be completed soon. 

Trying to save up 40K so that when I make the jump to TH9 I get the archer queen immediately.

if you want to protect your assets you may need to just drop down your trophies. im in Silver 1/Gold 3.. and more people looking to just attack the THs are in those.. so you may get lucky
 
Yea I stay in Silver 1 seems to be mad loot. When I get bumped up to Gold III I have to drop back down because farming is much less productive.
 
I went to crystal for a week and it was impossible to really farm..

the loot bonus was awesome if u could find ths outside the walls.

35k gold and elixr
100 dark.

i would just hit the outside ones and collect that money



but that wasn't fun so I worked back down.
After I max my th8 i may go back up to Gold 1/ Crystal 3
 
Farming Gold 2/Gold 3 were a chore for me and I've got all my camps and units maxed out.


Silver 1 is perfect. I usually roll with and 60-40 split of archers to barbarians plus 25 goblins, 12 giants, and 10 wallbreakers. Giants and wall breakers are only there in case I come across a great opportunity with strong defenses. Usually I don't even use them. If I just pick off collectors outside walls I can usually grab a quick 150K gold and not even have to wait more than a minute or two before my camps are full and ready to raid again.

I would have been pissed if I didn't have any Giants or wallbreakers when I came across this base a few mins ago.

I'm sure on of the more knowledgeable guys can give you a better answer but it seems to me a high trophy count is worse than useless if you're aiming for growth. If you're trying to acquire resources and build up your base as fast as possible high trophy count only hinders the process.

Up in Crystal? You don't run into a ton of x-bows and inferno towers? All insta skips for me. :lol:

I do but I skip for sure :lol:

I run into a lot of severely underdeveloped level 8/7 TH with a ton of loot :lol:

I mean like level 2 cannon underdeveloped. It is weird. I even see some level 6 here and that underdeveloped as well. Which is crazy.
 
1800 trophies at TH7 is not great if you're farming.. I'm at 1350 almost maxed out Th8

unelss you want those gems for reaching crystal no need to be that high.


There is more Dark Elixr in Gold league than Silver 1 though.

you come across a few 400+ in Silver 1, but in Gold you find the 500+ all the time



Now that I got my level 10 barb king i dont use dark for much. going to wait til i get th 9 and save for my arch queen

Yea DE is almost nonexistent in Silver 1. I get so impatient in Gold though
 
Farming is basically just going for the loot. instead of worrying about getting 100%

look for nearly empty storages that means all the collectors have the loot and they'll be easy to get.
 
I have no idea how I'm able to raid for anything at TH10

I'm always surprised whenever I put in a few good hours of raids

damn, th10 that rough ?.. idk if i am excited anymore lol . Th8 and 9 always had me rich in resources

its slim pickings for sure. 

Abandoned bases aren't that great anymore unless its a TH10.... sometimes abandoned TH9s can be solid come ups tho
 
I'm more excited about those electric walls at th10 im about another year away from that though.
