I would say fave pick up this year was the nike air wright my wife got me. I copped her the valentine Air navigates and she picked out the Wrights to match hers couple weeks later. I thought it was cool because she usually doesn't buy me kicks.

my man, Space Jams are the retro 11s with the all black colorway with the Blue Jordan emblem. The 11s you're talking about are the BREDs (Black wht &Red). I don't want anyone to clown you so just educate yourself. Sneakerheads are fickle people and will try to get at you.

Favorite kicks of 2012 definitely have to be the Doernbecher 9s. I wasn't able to get them because the nike site always crashes (you'd think a billion dollar company would have better servers) but those things are soooooo sexy. if the resell wasn't 500 and up, I'd definitely try to cop after release. Close second, maybe 1A would have to be the BRED 11s! I've always been a fan of the 11 (not too fond of the cool grey ones though) so when they came out I was super gassed!

Both of my favorite pickups of 2012 were gifts from my siblings.
Nike Roshe Run (Anthracite/Wolf Grey/Cyber)
I showed my sister the Roshes online and I expressed interest in picking them up, but I could never find them in stores. Then one day I was on a trip to Philly and my sister called me up. She asked me for my shoe size so I told her. A couple minutes later she sent me a picture of these Roshes and she told me that she'd buy them for me. When I got home that night I tried them on and they felt wonderful, they were even more comfortable than I was expecting. To reciprocate, I bought her a pair of the Court Purple Roshes. Speaking of Roshes, my local FootAction just restocked the Blacks, the Sport Reds, and the Iguanas. I wanna pick up a pair, but money's tight. -_- The life of a broke, college sneakerhead.
Air Jordan Retro XI (Bred)
This is my favorite XI colorway, and the fact that my brother "bought" them for me made them even more special. Technically he didn't really buy them, he just paid for them haha. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I jokingly told him I wanted to get Jordans. He was willing to go buy them until I explained that he'd have to go through either a lottery system or a wristband lineup. At that point he changed his mind and just gave me the money to pick them up. I ended up winning the Finish Line Draft and I woke up early on December 21 to go to the mall and scoop up my pair. My local Finish Line was set to open at 8 and the line was CRAZY long. Security actually had to start making multiple lines. 8:00AM rolled around and the Finish Line manager let in the wrong line first. I thought I was gonna be a part of one of those riots I've only seen online haha. After that I picked up my pair with no hassle and I had to drive to my final exam. I was a little late, but it didn't matter; I still got an A

I don't have a single favorite from 2012 but i'll be happy to share some of them:
Lebron 9 Elite MV
I distinctly remember going to a PC cafe with a friend here in Seoul for this release because we have the fastest internet speeds in the world. I was pumped for this release the moment the initial pictures were released and when they dropped on JJ, the site crashed (no surprise). I was refreshing frantically for about 15 minutes and was about ready to call it a day until my friend said to try one more time and wouldn't you know it, my size popped up and I was able to get through. I actually yelled "hell yeah!" out loud, only to have strangers starting at me in confusion.
Foamposite One Stealth/Kobe 8 Christmas
I was only able to get these releases simply through the kindness and willingness of other NT members, messaging me out of the blue to see if I wanted these or not. I'm definitely grateful for their generosity and I hope that I can find a way to return the favor in the future

There's just something about this shoe that I absolutely love!
