I've been lurking around this thread once or twice a week for three months now and finally decided to purchase a few splits.

Shoutout to Uniquekickz and Baise tonCanape. And thanks Baise for throwing in D. Yurman and Ab Spirit Silver! Can't wait to wear the splits out!!

Sold a portion of my collection several months ago that I didn't wear much, so here's a pic of my very small collection as of now. Just got Aventus and D. Yurman and they do smell as good as people on here have been saying. Very happy with everything I got that I learned about from reading the discussions on basenotes and this thread. Have a few more bottles coming in next week and a few more splits I'm interested in purchasing and then imma have to slow down. I can tell this thread will be a problem for my wallet :smh:

Anybody ever do store credit and trade in cologne with the decant shop?

I got 5 bottles of cologne that I want to get rid of that I dont wear.I want to get rid of it to all 1 place.

Gucci by Gucci-Used 3-5 ml of the 50 ml bottle.
Yves Saint Laurent L' Homme-used 1-2 ml of 50 ml bottle 
Calvin Klein Eternity for men Aqua-50 ml bottle
F by Ferragmo Black-50-used 2-4ml of the 50 ml bottle

Yeah. I don't know if fragrancenet stalks y'all as much as they stalk me, but one night after work I was researching Yurman on my phone and looking at prices for Aventus since I was able to smell it at the mall last week and really liked it but didn't wanted to pay over $300 for it. Woke up the next morning and fragrancenet emailed me a coupon code for 25% off both. I decided to pull the trigger on Aventus at about $255 and blind bought Yurman at around $35 since it was so cheap.

I'm not a fragrance expert like you but I thought Coach leatherware no1 and no3 were nice. I got mostly woods and leather from no3 and leather and green notes from no1. From my understanding, coach wanted this line to represent their high-end leather goods so the vibe I got when I wore them was an expensive leather jacket and leather shoes vibe, but I've only worn them two time each for a very short period of time. Didn't like no2 at all. I got them because I received a $100 coach gift card as a present this past Christmas and already had coach clothes, shoes and one coach belt so I decided to get no1 and no3 since they were on sale at $48 from $95.

Whats 5-7 must have scents?

I have most things mentioned in this thread already and want all heavy hitters.

I know I will get 10-15 ml of nuit d'issey and a 5 or 10 of polo red and prolly 10ml of utlra zest.

I will have about $60 instore still left after that.

Yurman has a pronounced oud wood note with suede, raspberry and sone powederyness similar to DHI.

I didn't mean compared as far as similiar in smell.

I meant is it a must have scent like those 3.
 
^ spot on. To me it's a fuse of Tuscan leather and DHI. Those are two of my favorite juices so naturally the DY is magic to me

For the price, David Yurman is the best fragrance on earth , that I know of. It's just as good as kilian, tom fords, xerjoffs, creeds, amouages, etc.. Granted it did retail for like $260, but at the price its sold at now, it can't be beat. I grabbed 4 bottles for a little bit more than $100.
