ok, you guys took more than half of that bottle of L'humaniste, so after the payments that I'm still waiting on are received, unfortunately I won't be letting anymore go (unless someone flakes out maybe). I honestly wanted to keep a little more than I did, but I'll survive.

this seems very backwards to me :lol: bda is fruity and aventus, bleecker, and pl all have smokey qualities

U might not be liking the vetiver in there, if anything.

Aventus has a smokey quality to it, but the recent years batches are more overall fruity.

And bleeker street isnt smokey in the least bit either.

You are probably just more inclined toward very fresh, light scents

Maybe I'm not articulating my opinion properly, but I'm just not feeling it. I bought it, so I'll still give a few more tries though
 
Got the d'afrique from Baise and it smells great

Just smelled it at Macy's, I didn't realize it was out

I like it, def not ground breaking but I'd wear to work or the gym

Reminds me of a soapy Chanel Bleu

Waiting for the nights to start cooling down so I can start bringing out these fall scents... I just grabbed my decant of Dior Eau Savage Parfum and took a whiff... Lawd that is 100% masculine
 
I'm in Houston (was in Florida before): every cologne is fair game regardless of season. I'm on Pure Malta this summer. 1-2 sprays on weekend nights. Not during the day.
 
Went to smell some frags today at the mall... Wasn't really feeling pure malt man to me it smells like Vicks, Bleu de chanel was OK, I liked AHS, VPH, and 1 million the best. Any1 own 1 million?

Gotta let it dry down fam. The opening turns a lot of people off but once those opening notes start to fade some and the berries come out :pimp:. I'd say it takes about an hour or two before it really starts to shine.
 
At the risk of sounding dumb what fragrance is HTTP? I've tried googling in the past but that acronym makes it very difficult to find any actual information.

I recently got my hands on the Maison Martin Margiela Jazz Club for men, very happy with that reminds me of terre d Hermes but a little less spicy, which I also got recently.

Their barbershop scent is pretty nice too, my roommate got that and I think it's soft but very nice and fresh.

Also got Allure Homie sport, Tom ford noir (which I find very feminine), Chanel Bleu and Bvlgari Aqua.

I think my favorite of the bunch is the Hazz Club and would recommend it to anyone that likes that Hermes or anything spicy but not too heavy
