I can't decide if I like Royal Oud or not. It's kinda harsh at first spray but a few hours later you catch whiffs of opulence all around you smh. I'm struggling through a 10ml decant. I've been wearing it for a week straight.

Gave my bottle of A*men away a few months ago though I enjoyed the dry down, I found the first 30 mins or so to be somewhat unpleasant. Since then I've been on the lookout for a new gourmand. I've tried several other substitutes to it but couldn't find anything with the caramel and vanilla dry down I liked so much about A*men.

While today I got package from Baise. Hermessence Ambre Narguile was cool, but Xerjoff Lira had me smelling my wrist for like 3 hours straight

Definitely found my new go-to gourmand. I would be all over a female who had the fragrance on. Lira is so irresistible

As far as department store frags go, la nuit would be a solid choice to go along with blue de Chanel. It was the first "night time/cold weather frag" I bought. The cardamom note is great and the hit of bergamot gives it some versatility.

Funny story about La Nuit. I was in Macys fragrance section the other day and as you know the employees were bombarding me with fragrances to try. Some young dude around my age tried to get me to cop that new YSL that came out. I told him that I'm good because I already got the La Nuit (vintage formulation). I told him about how I wear it to the club etc and the YAMBS be on it. He took a spray and told me i just schooled him on a new fragrance. Lol goes to show how much a lot of these department store employees know about fragrances.

Pick up Guilty Black by Gucci as well if you're looking for ways to use that gift card. Got it not too long ago myself and its already in the regular fall rotation with Polo Red.

Its not groundbreaking or anything, but I bought it for about $40. At that price its a great "safe" fragrance. You'll definitely get compliments, but its very polarizing.

I picked that up a few months back. I like it, thats my semi-daily use cologne right now. I just wish it could last longer.

You missed out on the fragrancenet eBay bottles. They were selling 95% full 4 oz bottles for like $165. I've still got half a 4 oz bottle left and I still grabbed one off general principle lol

Don't buy that bleecker street sample if there's only one sample. That price is outrageous. It also is definitely not the sweetest bond. It has some sweetness from the blueberries, but it's also smokey and woody

I work and go to school so I have 0 time to make it to the city to smell them in person. So thats a small price to pay to have it at my door . Anyone try Bulgari Black? Im reading reviews and the vanilla smell is another scent I could rock with..
