As much as I love Herod I would say no..
You should never blind buy based off someone else's feedback because a frag that performs amazing on my skin may not perform well at all for someone else..

It is one of my favorites though.

Went to Saks earlier in the week and they gave me 4ml free of Oud Wood. Not actually put it on yet but from the bottle smells like something my grandfather used to wear to go drinking

I don't care about batch numbers especially on Aventus. I've gotten compliments hours after I've stopped smelling it every single time. I had I know 3-4 splits before I decided that I actually liked it for me and not other people and I'm sure every batch was different. I got 2 from Baise, 1 from eBay and 1 decant I made from ordering samples on Beauty Spin. I finally bought a full bottle last week from France and I got the 15X21 batch that is allegedly a beast according to Basenotes.

Wore Black Afgano to work today forgetting how potent it is since I only wore it once about 5 months ago. I did 3 sprays and the projection and sillage was crazy on me. Went to work 2 hours later and attracted attention from every cougar I walked past. And while standing up and talking to a co-worker I felt someone from behind me touching and rubbing on my wool cardigan. Though that sounds strange, I paid it no mind because I've had several past experiences at my job were a co-worker would feel on my clothing because they find it interesting or it looks soft or some other odd reason. Well after about 10 seconds of that person still touching on my sweater, I finally turned around to a woman about 15-20 years older than me in her 40s a inch away from my neck sniffing my neck and clinging on my sweater

It was someone I knew and worked with occasionally so she was open and honest about telling me how good I smelt and how it was making her feel.....lol

I didn't think Black Afgano would be a sensual scent or scent females would love, but it definitely made the ladies at my job feel some type of way today
