I frequent discount websites and found that there was a special on the cool water 4.2 oz through a repuatable ebay seller for 19.99 . I pulled the trigger, never smelled before but have heard its a classic. Input on the cologne? ... for those that are interested links on slickdeals.net

A decent cheapie, but its a shame people were hyping this comparing it as an alternative to Aventus. Somebody was thrown some bread, because again, for $20 bucks it's a good frag, but having reputable youtube reviewers and such saying it's an Aventus killer is utterly ridiculous.

To me, if you have Aventus there is absolutely no need to have Insurrection. Unless you collect cheapies/bottles. This doesn't replace it, insurrection will never be a day to Aventus night, lite-Aventus, or any of those. Point blank, it's a good cheapie, and has some Aventus characteristics with the pineapple and a bit of birch, but I can smell the cool water-esque syntheticness, the Value City bargain bin quality.

I still love Cool Water.. even after trying out all these splits of higher quality and niche stuff.. it's just classic. And for that price it's definitely worth it.

Thanks Brody , will try it out. For $20 can't go wrong. Also, forgot I had $40 in my paypal account so that didn't hurt in the decision process.
 
I rocked a different cologne for the last 2 weeks and I came to the conclusion that I dont want that many colognes in my rotation.I think I have like 50 or so and they just sit.

I think I will just keep 5 main ones from now on.

1.A cheapie for just running errands,work or stuff like that
2.Versace Pour Homme which is my fav and really the only cologne I could wear forever.

3.Aventus/Aventus like for all around and going out.

4.Gucci Pour homme 2 or Creed Royal Oud-Something Spicy and for night/going out

5.Creed Silver Mountain Water-Just a great and fresh scent for spring and summer

Cool Water is what started it all for me, my very 1st cologne, I keeps that on deck

OK bondno9 makes alot of colognes includig bleaker st., little italy, etc. Which one in specific are you talking about?
