Spring/Summer 02 I rocked CK Crave like I was smelling god like :lol:

I smelled it again a couple weeks ago in my pops basement and wondered why I liked it; pretty sure the bottle is the reason I copped

Many people will knock Joop! ; however it was one of the first fragrances to move away from the strong / woody fragrances and try some notes that may have been more common in a females fragrance. They really pushed the envelope with that fragrance and it shaped alot of what comes out today. With that being said, it is a very strong scent, personally I can only wear in  the winter (2 sprays). It is synthetic and a sillage and projection beast. Try it out should be able to find for the low.

Joop is a cologne that was something very different back in the day but I am not sure how it has stood up with the test of time

Its pretty simple, most men find a cologne and stick with it forever. I know many of us have enough variety to open up shop, but were in the minority. The men that picked up Joop! in the 80's & 90's are the ones that are keeping it alive by getting that bottle annually for Christmas or Fathers day, then there is a few like me that like to try out some of the older stuff. Speaking of older stuff, rocking Cool Water today and already got three compliments from females at work.

Joop us still pretty huge in the U.K. and Europe. The same crowd that eat up One Million still buy Joop on the reg. over there.
 
And another shout out to NSJs.. again got my HTTP in quickly and without issue. I definitely feel better getting some extra since it quickly became one of my go-to scents.

Wore Creed's Original Vetiver the past couple days and it's outstanding.

"Leather, tobacco, rum, cistus labdanum, incense, fleur d’immortelle" per luckyscent

I get a boozy suede, with some tobacco in the background. This is as complex as they come and the scent changes as quick as the wind blows. Not similar, but it gives off the same vibe as DHI, kinda like DHI with a pronounced suede in it. As luxurious and opulent as Tuscan Leather, with better versatility and still beast performance. One of the few where I get compliments 8 hrs after applying. I drdown is completely different from the top notes, more florals shine through, less smoky, just sweet, boozy tobacoo with a pinch of florals. The performance in Cuir Velours reminds me of Herod, because its really a heavy frag if you go off the notes, but it stays transparent.
