Did I give you this one? I can't remember. Agar Musk is one of my favorite frags, period. It seems like some many that I smelled early on in my journey just stuck with me; Herod, Agar Musk, DHI.

When I first tested Agar Musk, I put on 1 dad and my boy two rooms over said "stop spraying all that cologne bro" It's a beast on me.

Back to Black SPLIT Update

The package has been sitting at US Customs in Chicago since 8/8

Edit
just realized its out for deliver today. :pimp:

No, you gave me some samples of Xerjoff, and they were superb. I am accepting samples of Agar Musk if you want to send me some. :D
This is really good juice. I'm down for a split without hesitation.
I also tried and liked Dry Wood. That one is a beast also. Great for layering too. I'm going to post my thoughts on that one later.

I like Roman Monegal stuff; I had a decant of their orange based scent forget what it's called

Bond 9 Queens
View media item 1135955Queens by Bond No 9 is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Queens was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Laurent Le Guernec. Top notes are bergamot, blackberry and cardamom; middle notes are tuberose, champaca and osmanthus; base notes are sandalwood, benzoin, musk and amber.

I wonder if my Nordies has this in stock. Sounds like another yamb magnet.
I think I'm done for now. Got everything I want already.

This is probably going to be an unpopular post, but here goes:

I sampled the 3 male-leaning scents from Creed's Acqua Originale line yesterday, and found none of them memorable, unique, or purchase-worthy. They all seem very weak and transparent, but maybe that's the point.

Asian Green Tea started out with a nice , refreshing citrus, but dried down to a sweet musk that reminds me a lot of a basic lotion my wife uses. This is disappointing to me as its the one I've seen the most positive reviews on.

Vetiver Geranium is very stuffy/woody out of the gates, which I liked, but dries down to what reminded me of ByKilian - Straight To Heaven, which is a scrubber on my skin. All I can figure is that its the cedar+patchouli combo. Noted.

Last but not least, and the only one I care to resample is Cedre Blanc. This reminded a lot of Allure Homme Sport upon application, which, for the price point is the clear winner.

Not in-depth reviews by any means, I know, but these just didn't grab me upon first wearing like many of the other Creeds I've tried and own.

Also, after wearing Acqua Viva for the better half of the morning, I have to say that I much prefer the creamier lemon of Edition Blanch.

I won't disagree on the Creed Aqua Originale, just not my style. Asian green tea was not for me. However the Aqua Viva is my favorite of the lemon/citrus vibes. This is not a knock on Chanel's Edition Blanche, I love that frag too. But the Aqua Viva is a notch above Chanel for me. Dry down is magnificent on my skin props to @Baise for that split.

I'm gonna rock it again tomorrow

I was very impressed with Asian Green Tea at first but I returned my bottle

It's really nice but longevity isn't great; it's also a tad to feminine for me to wear regularly

For some reason asian green tea reminded me of this aunt I see every christmas.

I'm holding onto the decant, its alright just not for me.

Pure malts opening can turn some away because it's so boozy but the dry down is amazing. Personally I like both the opening and the dry down but I definitely prefer the dry down. The fruity notes are great kinda like a warm berry smell and it works so well with the boozy notes

I'm need to try that bond no.9 queens. I'm from that borough, so it's a must.

Same reason the wife bought me New Ha(a)rlem and Riverside Drive.

Hope you make out as well as I did.

Finally got a chance to try the Versace Oud Noir NSJ sent me. After the shower, after the cut, before I just sit on my couch and watch fights all night.

I'm a fan.

Pure Malt isn't for me. I can't walk around smelling like Jack Daniels. That's all I smell 4 hours in. Pure Havane is much more pleasant to me.
