Teeth Whitening

Dam I've been using just crest whitening toothpaste + the partner whitening crest wash since I got my braces off. My teeth arent like...white the text or nothin but they noticeably whiter than other peoples teeth.

lol ok. will get to it maybe tmr.

it did make my teeth whiter though. might continue with lighter doses. maybe just coconut oil and a tiny bit of baking soda. gotta find the perfect blend. i also was brushing pretty hard.

today i tried hydroperox on a swab. to.get the inner arches more. didnt do much the first try. i had better result the first try of the coconut baking soda.

i saw a video of a guy mixing all three. not that brave yet.

Swishing is more of a movement around the mouth by contracting your cheeks, while gargling is more of a throat thing where you push from your throat to gargle.
 
Alright went to the dentist today. Changed my whole ideals.

Came in to get a general cleansing of my teeth, but my luck's body was ready. An intern came in to clean them, and she took the usual half an hour. Then when she finished she called the dentist in to check her work, and the dentist started saying practice makes perfect and I was adopted as the practice dummy. So they tell me to bite the dye tablet to show every inch of bacteria left in my mouth and she made her clean it until there was no pink left at all. Took an extra hour. My teeth are so clean and smooth I can't complain.

After she finished i stuck around to talk to the dentist, I asked about optic white. She said it is a really good thing to use for whitening and she has noticed the results. Then I eyed a toothbrush. The new soon are model. I picked it up and that thing is beautiful. 7 settings and all it does is vibrate. She said it using sonic waves or something to kill bacteria on the spot. I messed around with it and I really want one. $75 though :smh: but she has one and it's lasted her 6 years with no flaws whatsoever. So I'll get one eventually. Not to mention you take the brush heads off and put them in a UV light station where it murks all bacteria in it. Like the goggles in a chem lab.

So my new set up will be optic white toothpaste and rinse, and a sonic are brush.

Got some crest whitestrips and after 2 days I've seen results. Wonder how long it lasts though.

Was thinking about bumping this thread awhile ago, just said nah.

It could last you a life time if you let it. Keep your mouth clean and you'll be good.
 
No lie I planned on bumping this also. Peroxide people any real results? I'm seeing some but not as much as I would have liked.
 
 
Copped the Optic white paste with the Hydrogen peroxide after..

Do you just have the paste?

I use the paste, then the rinse. And the big 360 brush (haven't gotten my sonic are brush yet :frown: )

I think the paste and rinse work together when it comes to the whitening, because the rinse is like peroxide but with added effects.


Edit: looked it up, they have to be used together, paste+rinse = white

Paste alone = nothing

Read through the entire thread and not many people have had results with HP? I used the crest white strips for 2 weeks and got some results but nothing major. Just read up on the HP and might try that out once my socket heals from my wisdom tooth removal. Will ask my dentist about it also when I get my cleaning done. 1% diluted to about 1/2 and 1/2 is the consensus?

Curious to see how your teeth look like now Sir Charles.

if that's the case, then i'm not so sure swishing with h2o2 is gonna do much for you considering whitestrips are coated with peroxide.

i used about 10 whitestrips over a period of 3 weeks or so (kept forgetting to use it) leading up to coachella. friend commented that my teeth were blindingly white like ross's on friends :lol:

you might wanna consider paying for those UV whitening things at your dentist's office.
 
a doctor i work with got hers done at the dentist she said it was expensive but they looked great

I don't have the $$ for a whitening treatment right now :lol: h2o2 is only a buck or two so I figure I'll try that out first. Been using the crest 3D white toothpaste for about a month now.

If I go ahead and buy the Optic White paste + rinse (or any teeth whitening products), should I be drinking coffee daily/every other day like I have been? Or cut it out?

What's this optoc white discovery consist of? The optic white toothpaste and HP, or the optic toothpaste and optic mouth rinse? :nerd:
 
Went to get my teeth cleaned today. Asked the dentist on her thoughts about using hydrogen peroxide. She said it doesn't work. Not sure whether she was trolling or just trying to sell me their whitening treatment. I think she was trolling.
 
People said these are the best results but they be charging for this tho, like $40

Stay away from coffee, tea, and dark colored sodi pop
