Anyone see this yet? This is NT and we dont like lists but I dont think there was even a mixtape recap thread for 2012. http://www.datpiff.com/top2012

The number 1 pick will upset everyone and V6 is way too low. The only project that is in the top 5that belongs is Rich Forever

That list is pretty accurate. Best mixtape on there is probably "Rich Forever" or "Dedication 4".
 
they must have contracted some fool from complex to make this list.

the 5 songs on cigarette boats >>> half the **** on the list.

i bet they made this list based solely on downloads/views.. if they did

Detroit was def a good mixtape IMO but not ahead of Jeezy. and DT2 sucked...prob only got the vote bc of the anticipation
 
Mac & Cheese 3 not being numero uno tells me this list is a joke.

As I was searching for the real top mixtape I saw it was behind Trinidad James tape. I thought it was universally accepted that thing was trash?

Yeah I wish there were explanations to go along with it, but more than likely it would have just been littered with generic adjectives with no real explanations

Best mix tapes are macadelic, 1999, forever and a day, and Detroit also royalty

1999 and 4eva and a day deserve top 5. Detroit deserves top 10
 
This list staright up sucks. Dreamchasers 2 was terrible and I like Meek. Mixtape of the year is a tie between Taylor Allderdice & Detroit idgaf. Undergroud rapper mixtape of the year is prolly Vince Staples' Winter In Praque
 
Didn't realize how nice Consignment and Unexpected Victory were until I saw this list. Slept heavily on both of those joints.

Cigarette Boats was way too low, but it was only 5 songs so whatev's.

List look like it was just based off of "buzz" and not quality of the tape. I can respect it, but then rename the list to "Hottest 50 mixtapes" or something.

Not even close. KRIT had the best tape of the year. Joey Bad was my num 2. I thought budden was solid too. Rare Chandeliers is way too low.

I hate music lists for the most part anyway
