every year i post i'm coming and every year something bogus happens.....

with that said.

i'll be there. my break is 14-24.

From what I'm seeing on Twitter, it looks like one big *** field trip. Hopefully the intent of the event isn't lost for you guys headed down there to make something of yourselves.

i live in austin and last year was jus bananas it was more fun than vegas more fun than any vacation i been on. I would wake up at 9am and go hoop at this nike court they set up then get ready for the night and see some epic shows. Im hoping 2013 exceeds 2012 but i doubt it cuz man it was TURNT UP and thats a understatement.

FYI when they say you need a band jus find one of them guys at the side door or someone that looks cool offer them cash some of them are volunteers so they wouldnt mind 100 bucks for like 3 or 4 guys to slip in.

I read the list on the website and there are soooo many bands playing it but none of the bigger names listed yet. Last year there were a ton of people i wanted to see from ASAP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, POS, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Lana Del Rey, Against Me etc.

It's a must anyone goes your have your big artist doin shows free shows sometime jus have to find out where then you got people like ASAP doin like 2 or 3 a day so man if your a music fan come then you'll get to bump heads wit some artist and also see up and coming artist it's a must cuz last years was bonkers

Same here lol. I've been lurking NT more than i would like to admit, but i do take my music very seriously and want to head down to Austin this year to make some moves. I'll keep in touch, lets make this NT Showcase happen

I'd love to participate in that if it went down. These plane tickets aint no joke from Miami though smh.

I'm in a better position to make a few more moves, so if a few people are interested in renting a crib or something, let me know, I'll get things kicked off.

I really want to go but I have no one to roll with.

I've never been to sxsw and I have no idea how it works. Do I pay for a badge and then I have access to whatever badge I bought?
