=== LUNARACER+ 3 and LUNARTEMPO SERIES ===

Nice, TC! I saw the Orange/Blue cw at a FTL today. I'm not a big fan of the outsole. I prefer the lugs/pistons rather than the nubs. I do like how the midsole/sole has a sleeker profile compared to the OG LunarTrainers though. I'm confident that these'll hit the outlets.

here are some pictures of the volt colorway and a little description about the what the lunartempo is

THE new Nike LunarTempo marries the beloved lightweight functionality from the iconic Lunaracer together with a plush and responsive Lunarlon foam and comfortable materials designed to provide more durability and deliver lightweight support for everyday and every distance. Designers incorporated runners’ feedback when the Lunaracer was being widely adopted as a daily training shoe. They went back to fine tune and adjust the design to deliver a shoe with daily training in mind that maintained the traction, flexibility and lightness runners consistently loved from the Lunaracer. The LunarTempo is tuned for training.

Flymesh   Proprietary Nike Flymesh is an engineered material which features a seamless lining and breathable top mesh for lightweight comfort. The new material allows designers to seamlessly transition froma lightweight single layer to a supportive double layer where Flywire cables provide a secure lockdown and mid foot support.

Lunarlon Cushioning   The Lunarlon cushioning system features a soft, re-engineered Lunarlon foam for a smooth, plush, cushioned transition. It is bonded to a lightweight Phylon carrier to deliver an excellent blend of plush cushioning and durable support underfoot.

Flywire Cables   A pocket built into the Flymesh around the midfoot enables cables to move freely, getting them closer to the foot for dynamic lockdown and support.

Waffle Outsole Waffle pistons in the outsole work with the midsole by helping absorb impact and then deflecting back to the original shape for responsiveness. Durable carbon rubber in high-wear zones enhances durability and traction for more miles.

Had a look and feel of the lunar tempos and wow are they light! Didn't get a chance to try on but was impressed.

Apart from the name. Which they messed up. The tongue has 'lunar trainer' but obviously it ain't a training shoe so they changed the name post production.

Even changed the original box labels by covering just the part with the name from Nike Lunar Trainer to Nike Lunatempo with a sticker right over the top

Eg. Can see the tongue, but in the text it's tempo

Yea I saw these at ***** and they said LunarTrainer on the tongue. Wonder if they just shipped those out early and have another batch with LunarTempo on it

Interesting...

Here are some comparison specs between the two... (according to RW)

LR3:
Weight: 6.4 oz (size 9)
Stack Height: Heel (27mm), Forefoot (20mm)

LT:
Weight: 6.8 oz (size 9)
Stack Height: Heel (26mm), Forefoot (18mm)

They're very similar to one another. The LR3s slightly weigh less, while the LTs are slightly lower to the ground. However, colorwise, LR3s >>>> LTs.

these colorways actually have lunartempo on the tongue, so it looks like they were produced sometime after the name change. the colored underlay looks really good on these

Volt colorway not available yet on NDC. With the Lunar Tempo out, i suppose they maybe phasing out the LR3? I snagged a pair of all blue LR3 for $50 at a local running shop. Now I need that Volt Tempo

There are a bunch of LR3 to launch. They're marketing these like the LunarTrainer and Lunaracer back in 08. This time, it's LTempo for training and the LR3 for racing.

Like the LG7s, there isn't a cw that piques my interest yet. :/

I'm with you ILL, no colors yet that woo me into the water like siren mermaids.

I'm anxious to hear people's opinions on the fit of the LT's. The LR3 is the only running shoe that I've ever had to go up to a size 10.5 on because of the narrow toe box. I want to order the new LT, but I'm unsure of whether to get a 10 or a 10.5

I completely forgot about that [emoji]128533[/emoji]... The LR3 is one of the few shoes I opt for a +1/2 size larger than my normal. I know these are pretty much widely available. So, if you're near a FTL , FNL or a Nordstrom, you can try them on there...
