I think I'll definitely prefer these over the Zoom Flyknits. I loved how they looked with the nice patterns and all, but they felt horrible to me.

I had the og LR, and they performed well for me, but I wasn't a huge fan of them because of their film-like upper. I'd only wear them strictly for running. These LR3, on the other hand, are bound to feel comfy with the EM upper construction, and I'm sure I feel comforable wearing these casually.

In terms of aesthetics, they'd be awesome without that exposed Flywire, even if it was visible due to the contrasting materials/colors but under the mesh.

Only decent looking pair to me is the black/white because it's not as visible but I'd imagine they're comfortable & light.

There are no release dates for the Red/Yellow or Knicks color way yet, right, ILLustRAYt? I love my Flyknits, but for some reason the exposed flawier gets me. These are too sick. I've had my eye on these ever since I first heard about them a while back. Just wondering if you had anymore info.

Agreed. I'll be copping when I see them at the outlets. I'm really diggin' the Volt/Atomix Teal cw, but I won't pay retail.

I'm not sure about the NYK cw, but the Red/Yellow is supposed to drop this month.

Has anyone tried these on yet? If so, how do they fit, 1/2 size small like the OG? The Volt cw has really grown on me.

looks like nike is getting closer and closer to using the flywire tech the way (I BELIEVE) its suppose to be used)

the laces should only go through the flywire and not that actual "shoe" (medial/lateral) parts of the shoe so you get a real lock down fit.

thats not even the "tensil" flywire is it?

Just got my volts in the mail, and whoever compared them to the LT1's... they were spot on. The fit reminded me of the LT1's immediately. They are wider than I thought they would be. I absolutely love them. Even unlaced, these shoes are glued to my feet. I would recommend going up .5 size though. I usually wear a 10.5, I ordered a 11, and I really don't think the 10.5 would have fit. The 11's fit me perfect. I'll definitely be buying more, but once they go on sale because I imagine these will be sitting like most Lunar shoes now-in-days

Yeah, these feel good. The interior is reinforced just like OGs, but they feel more plush.

Received my pair today. Love them already. With this pair I went TTS but I would recommend going up .5, even though I feel this is doable. Will try .5 bigger on the red pair which I am going after next. Here is pic with and without flash.
