JB release numbers now reflect the hype for the shoe/colorway...

he probably meant the cool grey 9's
No, I seen the 11's.... I have been waiting to see where they are dropping, but havent heard anything.... Im thinking they will just show up like the Concords just did this morning....

concords only been restocking at Finishline which makes me think that its Finishline holding inventory not nike. Why would they only release pairs to Finishline and no one else. Also, the Concord inventory was minute so it makes even less sense to think its coming from Nike warehouses.

Yeah I get that about the Concords, but I have seen cool grey 11's in a Nike warehouse, back in like the second week of Jan..

im not doubting you about the cool greys 1 bit. im just saying using the concords as basis for the cool grey restock might not be a good idea since they are 2 different animals at this point and people will try and pick you apart.
1 stock came from FNL inventory. the other is sitting at Nike warehouses for one reason or another. unless you checked the shoes, they could be b, c, d grades, reserved for a special release, or some other reason.

True, I didnt check the shoes... Do you know if the restocks are B grades?

^^^ honestly dont know since i had the credit card issues for the restock on FNL.

id assume no. i think FNL just decided they were going to stagger the releases to keep consumers interested in them. someone posted the production date is consistent with the original release so its definitely just FNL holding inventory. since FNL doesnt sell B grades, meaning products marked a defective, i doubt they are. like most production runs, some people will get pairs with defects.

we've seen it before but never to this degree. i remember sheiks opening in arizona some 2-3 years after the DMP 6/11 pack and they had a FSR for the grand opening.

Some of the restocks online are canceled orders and/or failed payment verifications. I have yet to see a FSR restock. In-store restocks have limited sizes as well.

Re-sellers don't keep JB in business though, that kind of talk is beyond stupid.

Remember, resellers throw off Nike's measurement of TRUE demand for a shoe, and those measurements are important for gauging production across models, colorways and even time. JB may not care that they sold a shoe to a reseller, or that a reseller swooped up 20 pairs, but if he sits on those 20 pairs and it takes forever for him to move those, that skews the true consumer demand for a release and thus makes it hard to estimate how much to produce of a different CW of the same shoe or a similarly desired release of another model or colorway.
i think your logic is flawed a little. it doesnt matter who shells out the money to JB wether re-seller or consumer. JB's bottom line is met, they sold theyre product and got the sale they wanted. re-sellers obviously arent the target market market but re-sellers also arent purchasing stock no one wants. the re-seller market is helping JB in sales ultimately seeing re-sell prices, helps JB justify price hikes and even nike for that matter.

Canceled orders and failed payment verifications aren't re-stocks though. There have been more than a few re-stocks/re-releases with FSR's.
