Eh, I wouldn't disagree. Even as a low-key Fog supporter. I think what you're pointing out is that Fog projects outwards, whereas Monfils harms himself. Whether it be with his play or image.

From what I've seen, when Gael tries, he can be amazing... sure, he'll do some goofy stuff from time to time, but at least he'll show some effort.
Fog, to me, always seems to be in half-ars or don't-care mode.
Both guys are so talented, which is why it can be frustrating to watch.
