Eh. Sharapova & Lasicki is a crap shoot either way. Neither one of them have played mind blowing tennis.

Federer looked good out there. He looked very happy during the post-match activities. I think it's the small things like throwing the tennis balls into the night crowd and hearing the excited reactions are what add to the enjoyment of playing at the US Open. I hope in my lifetime I can attend a match at least.

I was looking at tickets for next Wednesday, but they are ridiculous. 

I should have gone today and bought a groundspass, but stupid lazy me didn't want to make the 2 1/2 hour trip.  I missed the chance to witness some great matches today (Halep, Gulbis, Karlovic, Monfils, Wozniacki).

I'm thinking of buying up tickets next year, and reselling them if I don't end up wanting to go.

What's the big deal about getting signals from your coaches? I know it's against the rules but why? The commentators mentioned how sharapova's coach had to tell her to eat a banana a few years back. Forgot about that.

I like Monfils when he's playing well and giving a damn.  But too often he screws around and just starts spraying his shots... not giving a damn.  His attitude on court can sometimes be so frustrating, cuz he can be so good.

Oh well.

Nice to see Djoker playing very solid through the first three rounds. His next match should be a good test for him against either Isner or Kohlschreiber.

Nishikori/Raonic in round 4... Should be great. Looking forward to Masha/Woz as well.
