I wish they would shut the hell up about match fixing if they aren't going to drop names. I'm so tired of them taking up 15-20 minutes of the first matches on the main courts with this foolishness.

I agree. I also think it's irresponsible as it makes it seem as if the players that are playing a match are somehow involved. It's one thing to talk about it at the studio but it is another to do it during a match.

I guess they're playing it up for ratings at this point. They didn't air the entire first set of Serena's match last night during prime time in the USA on ESPN2 because of this smh.

Very irresponsible journalism.  Throwing names in there without concrete evidence is extremely unfair on those players.  

The thing is, just cuz a top player loses a match to a much-lower ranked player doesn't mean a damn thing.  Hell, even if a player tanks a match (not giving their max-effort), it isn't really a crime.  Tanking and fixing are two different things.  There are many reasons why a player wouldn't be giving their best... illness, lack of match prep, being extra-cautious due to an upcoming slam, etc... doesn't mean they're fixing a match.  

Anyway, never was a fan of the guy, but mad respect for him for always fighting and having had to deal with alllll those injuries he's had.

I wasn't a fan either, but I will miss his competitiveness and fire for the game.

Scumbag Nickolas should really ask Hewitt to join his camp and mentor him. Hewitt was a firey guy like Nickolas but he had tremendous focus. Nickolas has so much talent.

I wouldn't go that far. I'm not into skinny ******* (the thickness of Boom Boom is more my speed ), but Maria does have a cute face and never-ending legs. And on deeper level, Maria looks like that really stuck up rich ***** you want to pummel on the bangbus and kick to the curb in a bad neighborhood.
