Of all the sports they have on ESPN, tennis has the best announcers by far, in my opinion. I'm watching this Serena match on the tennis channel broadcast and even they ain't as good.

Serena pisses me off playing like Federer. She's not going for any shots except the serve just trying to keep the ball in play until her opponent makes a mistake. Thank God Garbine isn't her friend like Caro & Aga. She always takes it easy on them.

^ Vee got a bit passive in the 2nd, which allowed Aga to move her around... also threw in a few more errors, I think.

Very impressed with Vee and Serena. Both are gutting out wins which is great. It's crazy when you think about their ages in tennis years. Their contemporaries are either retired, playing on the legends circuit or coaching players they play (Davenport coaches Keys). Wow is all I can say.

You sorta expect Serena to comeback, but for Vee, it's more impressive given that she's a bit older and has had to deal with her health issues.
