Serena vs Cici Bellis in the 3rd round tomorrow.

Well... That pretty much went as expected.

At least Cici can say she aced Serena, I guess.

Cici Body is not ready. She'll get there. Not sure why she was getting frustrated. You're going up against the world #1 and a straight beast.

Yeah, I think Cici shouldn't be too disappointed with what she was able to do against the number one player in the world. Being able to win two games and serve an ace against the dominant force known as Serena Williams is a pretty solid accomplishment for a 15-year-old. That match should motivate her.

It's still weird seeing Halep without those 34DD's. I won't lie and say I didn't think about an epic motorboat mission lol.

[emoji]128514[/emoji] [emoji]128514[/emoji] Serena almost choked that one away.

Serena damn near flopped away the title after looking like she was going to rout Halep again. I guess the men's title is Novak's to lose as usual.

Scrappy 1st set scattered with moments of brilliance.  Murray just collapsed in the TB.

Andy tightened up too much... hit so many shots into the net.

EDIT

Andy collapsed in the 3rd, but Nole was just too solid.  IW/MIA triple-double is insane.

wow he crashed him in the 3rd

i left the gym mid way through the 2nd set and missed the rest of the match

I know fatigue was a factor in the match, but it always seems like Murray tends to give up/lose all confidence when he's close to losing (or at least it feels that way when he's playing Djokovic). He just doesn't look like he has that "fight to the end" mentality that some of the other top players have when things aren't going their way.

Well, on to the red dirt. Rafa's down to number five in the world... It's pretty much now or never for him to regain his form. He only won one of the four clay events he played leading up to the Rafael Nadal Invitational (or "Roland Garros" as some of you like to call it), so there's still a chance he can get back up in the rankings before then. I'd much rather see him get to the final before he has to play someone like Nole.
