Justin Timberlake Thread: The 20/20 Experience Due 3/19, Link to "Suit & Tie" ft. Jay-Z on 1st Page

Seems like you're here to hate no matter what he puts out

And I remember how much NT didn't like Sexyback now look

No actually I really wanted this to be good. Justified was amazing and FSLS is one of my top Pop albums of all time. This is simply trash and although he may have done it before Robin Thicke......Robin Thicke did this better. I'm simply not a person who's going to like something because I like the artist. I'm still hopeful for the rest of the stuff he puts out, however this is not a good first impression.

Also.....was Hov breast feeding Blue Ivy when he spit his verse? Because he sounds terrible.

I like it a lot, didn't think Timbo had this left in him
The beat in the beginning and during Hov's verse > *
Hov was whatever on this though, looking forward to hearing what else JT got.

Timeline:

People initially hate bc it's not the greatest song they ever heard instantly

Song goes #1

Original people secretly help song become huge and say "it's grown on me"

If you listen to it with good headphones (and not your laptop speakers) it definitely grows on you quick.
Its a pretty good song.

Worth a 7 year wait? Probably not.

But if you don't think about the 7 year wait then by itself its a pretty good song.

I had low expectations to begin with, didnt imagine JT and Jay meshing well, plus a lot of people were dogging it on my timeline which lowered it even more, so I liked it. Gets better every listen. I just have a feeling this will be one of the weaker joints on the album

Not feeling this new track.  Hope he doesn't jump on the band wagon with all these club songs.  A dude just wants to hear some real R&B.

Up to 18 in 2 hrs

JT def still got that following, can't wait for the album

If he's doing anything like his last two albums he warms up with the first single then #2 is epic
