Justin Timberlake Thread: The 20/20 Experience Due 3/19, Link to "Suit & Tie" ft. Jay-Z on 1st Page

Song is nice. JT delivered a smooth hit imo....could've left Hov off the track though, didn't really fit the song too well.

The only reason I like the Hov part is the change up in the song and back

When I listen again I hear both albums in this single

You make it sound like these kind of songs dominate the airwaves lol. They are few and far between. But if you want more Trey Songz raunchy pop bottle songs or europop joints, more power to you.

Anyways, this a nice little joint.

I stopped listening to Trey YEARS ago my man. It's just the cool thing to do, talk about suits, tuxedos and whatever else. It might be the first radio single to focus on that but I've heard enough of that ****. It's beyond played out.

honestly not really feeling it, and I'm huge Justin fan. Hope it grows on me.. i'm sure the album itself will be flames.

I like this more than I liked SexyBack. It's Ok overall.

Not sure where the high regard for SexyBack is coming from either. I don't remember it getting great reception on message boards like this.

The only thing the song doesn't have going for it is a catchphrase like "Sexyback."

Hov was extra useless though

NT bashed Sexyback I remember and I wasn't a fan either but I guess 6+ years later people's opinions change

I still put it as my least fav JT single

Everyone has their own opinion, especially when it comes to music.

If you fugs with it then you do, if you don't; you don't. Simple as that, I always find it kind of entertaining watching people trying to change other peoples views on things (not just this thread, but in anything). Some of the best musicians and/or artists of all time have some terrible songs, no ones catalogue is perfect. But that song you may HATE, might be someone else's favorite.

I personally like the song 'Suit & Tie', nothing makes me go :wow: . But it's good music (to me) and I can appreciate that. I was really interested how JT and Hov were going execute this collab and I think they did it in a unique way that worked.

I'm not even a JT or Hov fan like it may seem either, I just like good music. No matter the genre, artist, etc.

Came across this last night after hearing 'Suit & Tie', don't know how many of you have seen it but I respect what he's saying :smokin

I heard the song twice its decent but his first singles were always shaky at best to me.

Agreed seems like he picks a warm up to be his first single

Like I Love You and Sexyback were the worst singles released from each album IMO

You serious? Like I Love You is fire. Beat is amazing plus The Clipse. Señorita was my favorite single off that album though, man that was a great album.

You wouldn't say Like I Love You was the weakest single off that album though?

Dope. ***. Cover.

To clear some confusion. Full album of JT / JZ / Timbo ? Or JT and Timbo ?

Sexyback was definitely a bigger single than this - the sound was new and totally different than what anyone expected, you either hated it or loved it, but it was definitely not what you expected from him.

This song is nice, but not as shocking as Sexyback was.

This will probably be a bigger single just for the fact people have been thirsty for JT's return
