Justin Timberlake Thread: The 20/20 Experience Due 3/19, Link to "Suit & Tie" ft. Jay-Z on 1st Page

I guess it's also an assumption but also less of a reach.

The two of them are friends, have chemistry, and something clicked for a massive record in 2006. So I'm just gonna assume they hooked up again because two of them are friends, have chemistry, and something clicked for a massive record in 2006. It's probably "I wanna work with Timbo" not "I need Timbo" unless I hear him say something to that effect.

^ The way I look at it

Timbo had nothing but really misses since 2007; he's a legend in the game but so are many entertainers who find trouble reinventing the success they once had

JT returning was gonna be huge no matter who the producer was; that's not a slight to Timb but a reality to people wanting him to drop that 3rd album

I think part of the reason he worked solely with Timb was to keep the project lid tight

Next album he should have more freedom to let it be known he's recording a new album

Part of the marketing genius of his campaign was basically hitting you out of nowhere he's dropping a single in a couple days followed by a new album

If he worked with a bunch of producers it would probably leak

Lets hope he works with a wide variety of producers for album 5

It wasn't really a surprise though.

News leaked that he was in the studio along with pictures.

He tried to deny it but it really became a matter of when rather then what if.

That was like 8 months earlier and it faded once people thought it was for Shock Value 3

I put em all together

Part one was great, Mirrors is the only song I feel like skipping because after seeing it live it feels better with the clap along haha

Part 2 I loved TBTN first time I heard it (I took it as an homage to the off the wall era, shake your body down to the ground etc :smokin) and after that I was hoping this part would be a throwback to Justified with more Neptune/Michael Jackson BBQ music, but not really:tongue:

TBTN, Drink You Away, Pair of Wings, Blindness and Electric Lady are the only joints that don't feel like they were pulled back out of the recycle bin during recording part 1

Cabaret is okay

Vid got me shook, disturbed, pissed.

But it did make me like the song a little more. *shrug*

Girl in the video is Riley Keough, Eivis' granddaughter.

Went to the show at the Barclays last night and...wow. Blown away.

I won't spoil it for anyone but mind blown.:wow:
I was in there too, broham. How were your seats? It was a great performance, the crowd had me disappointed though. They weren't turnt up enough.

Damn, sounds boss! I was up in the rafters. And yes, Poison seemed to awake every living being in there, myself included.

I hate to grave dig but i didnt want to start a new thread but the song "not a bad thing" sounds just like another song but i cant put my finger on it. Does anyone know what it is?

Honestly it sounds like anything Babyface has ever done.

Not a Bad Thing sounds like something NSYNC would have done back in the day. One of the few great songs on the album.

Im thinking of a specific song but i cant get it. Its hard to explain its the chorus i think the melody but it will come to me like 4 months from now
