NEW 2014 INFINITI Q50 ("g37 sedan successor")

Eh the current headlights of the G37 coupe/sedan look like the successor to THOSE headlights. It should be the other way around.

Gonna need better pics...

^^coupe usually comes out a year or two after the sedan, so won't be revealed yet (rumored to be called the "Q60" btw)

/\ slap your mouth. i love my G sedan

anyway the new one is too tough... :pimp:

lovin the quilted leather on the interior panneling. same as the new M37s n QX50s

beautiful interior all around, not a huge fan of the rear tho, looks like an Audi esp with those rims

I'm a Infiniti man. Owner of a M45, truthful I can't get down with G line just too weak and basic this new line seems to be no different except the couple of course.

Now that M line is a whole other subject, I need that new M37s or M56 in my life.

horrible.

There's nothing luxury about the infiniti brand.
I still don't see why consumers don't save $10K and just buy the Nissan version.

^
Nissan doesnt really offer a reasonable alternate, unless they have a midsize RWD 6MT sedan with good handling that I'm unaware of

I just don't see the appeal of these Infiniti's.. they look like a bad attempt at an Audi or BMW variant.

This of course is just my opinion, some of them are nice but nothing really special.

What?

I mean...better materials? Cars are generally built better and are more "solid". Leathers, overall classier design, more tech. Performance is also better and theres the prestige factor.

If you wanna go and make a statement like that, might as well say it about Lexus and Acura as well.

Only thing is the new headlights in that video look like the e60 headlights.

The current G's, M's, FX, look NOTHING like Audi's or BMW's.

everyone wants to copy BMW m sport designs. first the gs350 which totally bit off the m5 and now this. but that's all they'll be in the end, an imitation.

[COLOR=#red]the reason why Infiniti, Acura, and Lexus can be less expensive than their German counterparts is because they have their parent companies Nissan, Honda, and Toyota. This allows for frame/chassis sharing, parts bin sharing, engine sharing etc. that doesn't mean they aren't great cars though. if anything they are at the least quite reliable and don't suffer as much from the little niggles that ther German cars tend to have during its life cycle. But make no mistake they are luxury versions of their conventional counterparts, with a few exception (LFA, NSX). Most people don't realize that the G37 Coupe is basically a RWD luxury version of the outgoing model of the Altima Coupe.

little known fact...Mazda was supposed to have a luxury car division called Amati...the Mazda Millenia was originally planned as the first car in the Amati line, but for financial reasons they scrapped the idea and just released the Millenia as a Mazda.
