2014 Mercedes Benz CLA (New Entry-Level Benz) - AMG Shooting Brake not US-bound

Nah, you guys are crazy. Plenty of men are driving around in FRS/BRZ these days and that thing is barely bigger than a Miata. Lost men drive the TC, 1-Series, A3, Golf, etc... All compact cars. This car is probably about the same size as a TSX, IS, I mean this is already 2" longer than the current C-Class (C-Class = 180" vs CLA = 182").

brz, frs, a3, golf, tc...those are all tuner cars.

frs and brz are strictly cars for tuners..that's why they're lightweight and rwd.

This benz is 208 hp pig. Big difference.

What are these things gonna cost when u tack on options..40K? No thanks..get a TL, a3, is250 with that.

So what if all those are tuner cars, what does that have to do with "only females buying the CLA if it's too small"? Everyone that buys those cars are tuners? Golf is one of the best selling VW cars, you telling me only tuners buys those cars? I see plenty of females driving Golfs/Rabbit too.

Who says you have to option it out either? IS250 starts at $35k now bonestock, those optioned out is also going to hit $40k easy. Same with the TL. The CLA starst at $30k, at $40k, that will include all the option possible.

Not point in making a thread for this yet because no pics have surfaced but since this is the baby CLS, I figure I can sneek in this discussion the baby SLS, the SLC (911 fighter/killer?).
Even if it isn't a gullwing, this car will be beautiful like the SLS. I just wish it starts at $80k like the 911. A V6 with 350hp at around $85k-$90k will sell like crazy.

Looks like an S2000 meets a 370z....wack.

Looks much better from the front than the profile.

car is camo'd though so you can't even really tell how it'll look with all the details though. i think the car is gonna take away mad sales from the SL which has personally always been a favorite of mine.

Yes, people are only going to buy to this to say I have a Benz.

Yea but people have been doing that forever though, even with more expensive models, they cop, just to say they have it. It shouldn't be irking some of us so much. That logic can be applied to many scenarios, from cars to sneakers.

I mean, I don't think its wrong for MB to put out a sub $30,000 car. why not? They're cooking right now with the C-class coupe and finally beat out BMW in sales last month, And now with the CLA, younger buyers will have a field day. Plus, some of us like the idea of being able to pay less than $500 a month to lease a brand new mercedes, thats a nice little luxury imo.

If this joint is,5 series size or bigger this joint is solid for 30k...can't beat it..between a camaro, charger, challenger, or this..I'm going with this

The og car how big is it..is it bigger than a e class

This car is about a foot shorter than the CLS and E-Class. The car is still a compact sedan so pretty close to the size of the current C-Class, IS, A4, etc... Probably the same size as the Corolla, Civic too, which aren't really as small as it was 10 years ago.

It's probably on the C-Class platform.

It's actually based on the A-Class platform.
