2014 Mercedes Benz CLA (New Entry-Level Benz) - AMG Shooting Brake not US-bound

i JUST said a page back im waitin on the audi a3 sedan

i have a lex and audi with no current car payment an i maintain them very well, the es300 has 225k+.........i do all my maintenance with cash no CCs if you wanna know.

Im for leasing any mb, bmw, audi........................like MOST ppl in NYC do like most ppl do with luxury car brands period.

a 30k benz can also have an AMG badge because AMG benzes depreciate even worse than a gotdamn maserati

brand washed.........no i love cars in general (nyc auto show is coming this month, you can take pics next to the maserati fyi)

i think the new honda accord sedan looks damn good, i would take a loaded new accord over the entry level cla with little to no options, you do make some valid points but you still a thug behind a screen name

Calling someone brand washed yet looking down on people driving Hyundais and Hondas...makes sense

How are you saying the car is @#$% when you haven't even driven it yet?

^audi al/lurking2long

you dont even own or push an audi

yet you are in all the audi threads...always like audi >

you said in the future you gonna lease an audi a3 (i can sense the struggle in your posts)

the iron knee

on the topic, i gave my opinion on the CLA. like countless other posters. why am i being singled out.

If thats your thing. Then more power to you. Stunt and mob in your GLK, C-class and CLA.

you doing it for the emblem...and to say "I drive a benzo"

but do not think you are doing it. when you got the pleather seats, no option on it, the standard is atrocious.

a 30k benz is a 30K benz

a audi a3 is a 26 27K audi

go take your money else where and get something better.

But your brand washed. smh

so all these soccer moms in the suburbs are brand washed but you singled out people in the hood. That's the problem

cant even lie...after seeing more of the amg im considering trying to end my lease early to get into one

do not like it at all....destroys the brand integrity...

a 30K benz? expect to see everyone in the hood mobbin in these....from urban youths to baby fathas....smh..."but i got a benz tho"

I'm upset that BMW, MB even make cars that are lower than 40-50K....I despise the c-class and 3 series...and anyone who drives in it....Pump Faking it....Balla Stunt fail...Doing it for the M emblem...smh

This car doesn't cater to youth...it caters to the people who otherwise couldn't afford a BMW, MB.....and to the Honda/Hyundai/Kia drivers that wanna upgrade..

youngins around here be pushing 5 series and E classes in high school....so miss me with that "This is for the yuppie hipster generation"

^ reads like the words of someone who's never even been to Germany.

Folks will be amazed how in Europe these European cars are seen as ordinary. And how A-Classes and B-Classes, 120's, are common.

Just so you know even the E-Class and 5 series come standard with faux leather seats. You have to drop an extra $1900+ for real leather.

^its always the people who talk about other people's money that are broke...

you know the ones who are concerned with what other make? how much other people's house cost?

how about you SFC?

SFC...

You gotta ask yourself....do you own a million dollar home? do you live in a million dollar home? have you ever lived in one?

Do you or your family gross 6 figures a year? What do you make?

did your parents pay for your to go to a school like duke or stanford outta their own pockets?

No, no, and no...so whats the discussion here?

I'm not concerned what the man in your neighborhood grosses or how much him and his wife house cost....or your colleague...or a person you know...

tell me about you...not them or your friends...you

CLA is ugly. CLA will make apperances in the hood and for the fronters. Because it cost 30 racks. Simple as that. Left my opinion like everyone else.
damb... your jimmies seem to be rustled beyond belief...

lemme ask you this... cuz you seem to have a ton of answers...

i'm an ex hood *****... i grew up around swangaz and big rims... challenegers and chargers... buicks... etc...

if i come up in the corporate world making 90k... where all of my cowrkers are old men that live in nice neighborhoods and drive 3 series..

can i cop a 11 challenger and throw some 24s on it?

or would i have to settle and cop this baby benz?

grace me w/ your knowledge.

I mean...even though
It's obviously a totally different situation with this Benz pricing. Not comparing the two. But im just saying, most companies really care about that image...so it's pretty weird to see Benz catering to the lower end of the middle class with this new entry level sedan.

 :pimp:

Benz has been making "low end" cars for YEARS now, it's just that they haven't been selling them in an extra materialistic country like the US until recently. Actual German people have no problems pushing the A/B class

View media item 326235
When I went to Munich a few years back, most of the "luxury cars" were of this type or at the most at the 3 series/A3/C class level. The "higher end" cars were usually only driven by extremely rich dudes. It's only in the U.S. where average-low income dudes buy these cars to stunt

Benz ever sells this crap in da US & its image suicide

If you've ever been to Europe you would know Benz's are like Honda's over there. Don't think you're bout to stunt over there

Confirm. Even BMW M3s aren't really rare.

That whole "riding foreign" idea doesn't really exist here.

actually it does, backwards...they got pockets of muscle car fans out there.
It's not the same though. I've never seen a Mustang and can count the Corvettes I've seen on one hand.

I see more Ferraris and Aston Martins than American muscle cars. Probably see more Porsches than trucks now that I think about it.

damn i forgot to thoroughly sift thru da benz section of da car show this year to peep how small this is in person smh.....

**** wack

starting at 45k for the amg version

CLA is bare bones luxury. Damn hyundai sonata with leather seats and softer suspension.

With that, i'll just get something from infinity.

OR, if u really want to stunt, 45-50k will get u in a CPO M or something from the AMG line.

if i want DOPE luxury for 40K i rather have...

As luxury sedans go, the Chrysler 300 SRT8 goes better than most, and the latest embellishments by the Street and Racing Technology crew should make the going look even better. One of three “Core” SRT models displayed on the floor of the Chicago auto show—all are intended to appeal to enthusiasts by offering full SRT8 performance with fewer niceties—the latest package is distinguished by 20-inch aluminum wheels with black highlights and black “6.4L” fender badges.

The 6.4 refers to the 300’s 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, rated for 470 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque, and by EPA estimates, 23 mpg on the highway, thanks to cylinder deactivation that shuts down half the engine under light loads. An active exhaust system reduces back pressure under higher loads, lending authority to the combustion audio.

This is the biggest sedan in Chryslerdom, but the SRT folks figure the combination of launch control and paddle-shifter-equipped six-speed automatic should propel this 300 to the quarter-mile lights in less than 13 seconds and 0-100-0 in less than 16 seconds. Top speed is estimated at 175 mph. (When we last tested an SRT-fettled three-hundo, we traversed the quarter in 12.8 seconds.)

The interior is deepest coal-bin black, but it’s an elegant coal bin, with snug bucket seats with “Ballistic” cloth inserts and “Axel” cloth bolsters with outstanding support. (The regular SRT8 has leather seats with suede inserts.) Piano-black and matte carbon-fiber accents enhance the already attractive 300 dashboard and instrument binnacle.

To bring the price down, the regular three-mode adaptive suspension is switched for a single-mode setup, the HID headlights are replaced by halogens, the fog lamps have been deleted, and the wheels are cast rather than forged. Slated to go on sale this summer, the new package will be offered at $44,990, plus maybe a grand in gas-guzzler penance. For comparison, a de-Cored 2013 300 SRT8 starts at $50,020 with all taxes and fees.

i sat in all of them too

if you really think that interior is acceptable at that price point i dunno what to say.

i guess its all about the engine/power

if it matters, i think BMW interiors are weak also.

lexus and benz currently got the best insides

you gotta understand b, you're PAYING for these cars to perform, all da MEAT of da money you paying for that whip is for

da engine, da suspension, da tires, da wheels, da performance..i know it can sound boring to da uninformed, but at 40k, you not getting

that type of car performance from ANY car that doesn't cost at least twice da price and come from germany.....

to act like their interiors are garbage though is something that comes across as insincere....alot of people for example here on

NT will bad mouth a charger because of its interior, but will be JUST FINE with their bucket they call their car...its mind boggling to me.
